Scott, Brooke, and Stiles slipped into Lydia's hospital room. Brooke stood up confidently as she still felt the red eyes staring at her. Now, she was just scared for her friend's life, like she was for her baby sitter's life about 7 years ago when she went through the same thing with rejecting the bite. No one knew it then, but Paige was the girl who put everything into place. The day after she died was the day the Morrell's decided to tell Brooke the truth about their family.
Scott and Stiles lifted up the side of Lydia's hospital gown to check the bite on her left hip and their eyes widened in shock. The bite hadn't healed like Scott's, but Lydia wasn't dead either and the person always died after 12 hours.
"If she's not a werewolf then. . . " Brooke thought out loud which got Scott's attention.
"What is she?" Stiles questioned.
Jackson appeared back at the Hale House the morning after the big battle. The guy was more determined than Peter when he wanted revenge, and that probably wasn't a good thing. Once Jackson found Derek inside cleaning up, he started to talk.
"I helped you get what you were after, now I want what's mine." Jackson stated.
Derek jumped down from the staircase as he gave Jackson an evil smirk that made him feel uncomfortable. But Jackson wanted it, no matter what.
Chris Argent sat in his den as he read the newest edition of the Beacon Hills Chronicle. His little sister made the front page. The top story was on the solved arson case which named Kate as the evil mastermind. Victoria walked in and glanced down at the news article.
"Kate can't take the fall for something she didn't do." Victoria insisted.
"We're going to be pariahs in Beacon Hills." He stated.
"And what about Scott?" She questioned.
"I'm not the only one he'll have to worry about when they get here."
