Beacon Hills beat Trojan High School and the whole team rejoiced as they made their way towards the boy's' locker room. Except for Scott, he just really wanted to find Stiles who never showed up and wasn't answering any of Scott's texts or calls. Scott was worried, what if the alpha decided to take down Stiles next. Scott imagined Stiles in a hospital bed right next to Brooke and a shiver ran down his spine.
Scott stumbled with his thoughts around the hall behind the rest of team. He lingered so slowly that he ended up bumping into Allison in the hallway. They exchanged a few awkward glances, but eventually she smiled at Scott.
"You were great out on the field tonight." Allison said.
"Thanks, you too." Scott replied then mentally slapped himself. Sometimes he wondered why the hell he even opened his idiotic mouth.
"I did do some pretty awesome cheering." She giggled.
Scott realized that Allison had covered for him, she had smiled at him, hell, she was actually talking to him. Maybe, Scott thought, we can be friends again. He even thought that they could have a chance at being together again, as soon as he got the alpha to cure him then everything else would just fall into place.
"Good game, Scott." One of the lacrosse players said which cut Scott off from speaking. He glared at him until he disappeared into the locker room with the rest of the team.
When Scott turned back to Allison, she was already about halfway down the hall with Chris leading her away. Away from me, Scott sighed. Suddenly, Jackson was by his side and he watched as Allison and her Dad walked out of the school. He faked a painful wince.
"I seriously sympathize for you, Scott. Listen, if you get me turned into a werewolf, I'll help you get her back. And just think, in a few days people are gonna start asking each other to the Winter Formal." He stated then walked into the locker room too. Scott sighed one last time before he followed after him to take a shower.
After Scott took his shower, Danny motioned for him to walk over. So he did, Danny seemed genuinely sincere whenever he talked to him and Danny had always been a great friend to Brooke. Scott trusted him in a way, even though he was Jackson's right hand man.
"Apology accepted." Danny's words made Scott scrunch his eyebrows in confusion. "Every time you got the ball tonight, you passed it to me."
"Every time I passed the ball to you, you scored." Scott replied.
"Apology accepted." Danny repeated as he shut his locker and picked up his red and white lacrosse bag.
"You're a confusing guy Danny, but okay." Scott shook his head.
Danny nodded with a grin then walked out of the locker room. The last bit of players left while Scott still had his towel wrapped around his waist and his body was still wet. Suddenly, the lights turned off. Scott started to walk over to the light switch, but it seemed like the power was out because the switch wouldn't work.
A lacrosse ball began to roll across the floor, Scott went to pick it up, and it led him back into the showers. Scott nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw Derek looming in the shadows, again. He was actually happy to see Derek for once, he wanted to know where Stiles was, and what was so important that they missed the entire lacrosse game. Derek looked over his shoulder and Scott instantly recognized Derek's uncle from the hospital as he came out of the shadows. He held a lacrosse stick and before Peter even spoke, Scott knew what was happening.
Scott realized that Peter had been completely healed, his face no longer scarred, which meant he was a werewolf. At the thought of him being the alpha, Scott's jaw clenched. The thought of Peter hurting his friends, the people he loved.
