Katy's POV

I saw a black car pull up in the driveway and i got up to see who it was when i seen Jade making her way to my door. I opened it and she stormed in the house. "ANGELA, JOY"!! she yelled. "What's wrong Jade"? i said rubbing my eyes. "ANGELA, JOY COME ON WE HAVE TO GO"!!! she said ignoring me yelling once again. "JADE they're sleep, what's wrong" I said. "Derrick was cheating i found out he was living a second life with a girl and a kid". "Oh my god are you serious"? "Yes" she said breaking down in tears. I ran over to go hug her. "And the worst part is that the girls they are daddy's girls what am I suppose to say to them". "I don't know, but come on we can go to your house i'll get the girls and their bags" "Ok" she said wiping her face. I went upstairs to my guest room and shook the girls so they could wake up. "Wake up you guys mommy's here" They woke up after shaking them for a few minutes. "Get your bags mommy's here" They got up quickly and grabbed their bags and all their stuff and quickly ran downstairs to see Jade there with her arms spread out. They ran into her arms nearly knocking her down. "Hey babies" "Hey mommy" they said. "Let me go brush my teeth and pack my bags and i'll be ready to go" i said before walking up the stairs. After i did all that i went downstairs and we all went to the car. Occasionally i would glance over at Jade to see that she was really sad. She was just staring at the road emotionless. We finally made it to her house and we all got out out and got our bags then made it into the house. Since it was early in the morning and they haven't been in their bed in so long as soon as they got in the house the girls ran into their rooms to go back to sleep. I walked into the kitchen with Jade and sat at the island and so did Jade. "You want some tea or something"? i asked her. She nodded as I got up to get the cups and everything. Once i was done i handed her cup to her and sat my cup in front of me. We sat in silence until the front door opened and in came in Derrick. He came in the kitchen and stopped once he saw me, he waved and said "Hey Katy". I sipped my tea silent and looked at Jade. He leaned in to kiss Jade but she ducked then got up. "Where were you" she said folding my arms. "What do you mean i was in Ohio for work"? he said. "Get that stupid look off your face and tell me where you were right now" she said getting louder. "I was in Ohio" he said looking nervous. "You got one more time to tell the truth, WHERE WERE YOU"! "I was in Ohio" "You fucking liar" she said grabbing a knife "WHO THE FUCK IS LAURA" she yelled. I got up to try to get the knife from her but she moved before i could waddle to her. "WHO IS SHE HUH, YOU LEFT YOUR WIFE AND KIDS FOR SOME WHORE THEN YOU HAD THE NERVE TO HAVE A BABY BY HER" she said swatting the knife at him but he jumped back. "Im sorry Jade, but please don't cut me" he said. "I should fucking kill you" she said swatting at him again and he jumped back again. "JADE PUT THE KNIFE DOWN" i yelled. She looked back at me with a tear stained face as Derrick looked at me with fear in his eyes. "Put the knife down" i said more calmly this time. She put the knife down on the counter. And looked back at Derrick "How could you do this to me Im your fucking wife" she said breaking down again. "Im sorry" he said trying to reach for her but she slapped him on his face hard. "Get the fuck out of my house and don't ever come back go live with that other bitch" she said. He was hesitant at first but he grabbed the bags he came in here with and left out the door. I turned to Jade and she was still crying. I gave her a hug and led her to the living room. "Here I'm going to go get you some tissue" i said going upstairs. As soon as i went up there i saw the girls at their door looking at me with tears in their eyes. "Oh" i cooed as they came over and hugged my thighs. They heard everything. "Go downstairs and hug your mommy i think that's what what she really needs" "Ok" they sniffled and ran downstairs. I went into the bathroom and grabbed a whole roll of toilet paper. Today was crazy. I rubbed my belly seeing how Jade was going through almost the same thing i was.
