So- I've kind of just accepted the fact that I'm not going to this stupid party.

I'm also kind of upset that Perri didn't stand up for me and that Ni gave me a small bruise under my eye and that Danielle is going to be holding the 'dating Jordan' grudge on me forever.

I get into my usual tour pajamas- a tour T-shirt and shorts then I climb into my bed. The only thing that could possibly make me feel better right now is seeing my kids.

I miss them so much.

I grab my IPad for my suitcase and call Aunt Lydia on FaceTime.

Her face reminds me of the old days with Dad and I smile.

"Hello, Aunty Lydia- how are you?" I say, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible.

"Hello darling..." She says. "Goodness- what happened to your cheek?"

Crap.

"I walked into the tour bus." I lie.

Her worried face emerges.

"You silly, silly, woman...." She sighs. "How's Gina? How did the show go? How is New York?"

"Amazing." I lie. "Gina's fine. New York is really....amazing."

"Good, good.." She says. "I'll expect you'll want to see them. Daniel (her husband) was just giving Topaz her milk. I'll just go and get her-he should be finished."

I smile, wondering where Reid is.

Aunt Lydia sets the IPad up on the coffee table in front of the couch then goes to get my daughter. Topaz is awake.

She sits Topaz up in her arms to look at me. Topaz stares back at me with her big eyes, dressed in her cute pink jumpsuit.

"Say hello to mummy, Topaz." She says.

She makes Topaz wave.

"Hey, baby....are you okay? Are you having fun?"

Topaz smiles at me which I find really, heartwarming. She kind of laughs.

"Oh my God, that's her first, like....giggle!" I say, overexcited.

Aunt Lydia laughs as well.

"Are you laughing?" She says. "Are you laughing at mummy?"

"She's probably looking at my cheek like....what the hell happened?" I say, getting comfortable inside the hotel bed.

I notice a tear running down my face. I wipe it away quickly.

"I miss you so, so much..." I smile again. "I love you. I will see you soon."

Topaz starts looking around everywhere. She has a lot of brown hair. I just love her beautiful hazel eyes.

"Blow mummy a kiss..." Aunt Lydia says, taking Topaz's hand and putting it to her mouth. "Mm...wa!"

I laugh again and blow her a kiss.
