Greased Lightning - TangoTek

Running over the rickety red wood bridge connecting the Tuff Guys to the area of land Gem, Joel and I live on, I jump over the precarious gaps, a wide grin plastered on my face. Dashing around the large cobblestone building and leaping over the small break in the ground filled with flowing water, I dart my gaze around, spotting Bdubs and Etho conversing a few feet away.

"Etho! Bdubs!" I call out, changing my direction to run into Bdubs, jumping onto his back in a playful manner.

"Ahhh! Stop jumping on me you freakin' maniac! Go find Tango for that!" Bdubs cries out as he lurches forward, barely maintaining a semi upright position.

"Well I was going to do that, but I can't find him anywhere." I pout.

"Probably because he's doing laps of the map." Etho chuckles, watching as Budbs finally pushes me off and dusts off his jacket.

"Huh? What does that-"

"Balgblgalagala!" My question is cut off by a strange noise as a blur of yellow and red flies by me, a strong gust of wind accompanying it.

"What the heck?"

"There he goes again." I look at Etho, my brows furrowing in utter confusion.

"What do you mean-?" I'm cut off again, this time by the gush of wind coming to a halt right behind, followed quickly by a pair of hands wrapping themselves around my middle, lifting me up and spinning around.

"Tango!" He replies with his infectious laughter, placing me back onto my feet after a few more spins. Turning, I come face to face with his bright red eyes, and wind blown unruly yellow hair.

"What in the world were you doing?"

"It's my superpower!" He exclaims, running around me in a blur a few times, before stopping in front once again.

"Super speed! That's awesome!" He grins, his figure practically glowing with pride. I turn back to Etho and Bdubs. "What about you two?"

"Well I can skip the night," I nod having learned of this when the moon and night sky disappeared suddenly, leaving the flammable mobs around our base exposed, "and I can do this!" With a short wave of his hand, time slows down significantly, my eyes going wide in surprise.

"Sssooo iitttt wwaaaasss yyyooouuu." I restrain the urge to laugh at the slowed sound of my voice. Tango's laugh rings out from behind me, accompanied by Ethos, both slow and comedical. A few more moments go by before time returns to normal, a small giggle eliciting from my throat. "How about you Etho?"

"I, I can do this." I watch as a large mace is pulled from a holster on his side and a small ball of white, swirling air is thrown to the ground, launching him into the sky.

"Whoa!" I crane my head back, shielding my eyes with a hand from the sun. As Ethos figure begins to descend, I hear Tango cry out.

"NO!" Etho lands a few steps behind, just where Tango had been.

"Oh my gosh, that's really powerful!" Etho seems to physically swell with pride. "How much damage does it do?" Then he deflates.

"Half a heart." He speaks quietly, his head hung in shame causing Bdubs to cackle with laughter.

"What about you?" I grin.

"I do this." Turning away from the three, spotting a cow grazing a few feet away, I cup my hands around my mouth before sucking in a deep breath. And in one release, a loud and shrill scream expels from my throat, shaking the cow significantly, before it drops to the ground unmoving.

"Holy crap!"

"What the!" Both Tango and Bdubs exclaim in surprise, watching as I turn back to them, a large grin on my face.
