Cows - Tango

Readjusting the red cotton blanket previously strewn across lazily by my boyfriend, I run my hand over the soft material, smiling contently. That is until I hear a strange noise from the surface above me.

"What the..." Furrowing my brow, I walk over to the jukebox in the corner of the room, pulling out the disc to hear more clearly. A moment passes and nothing.

"I must be hearing things." I shake my head in exasperation, replacing the disc back into the slot, allowing the music of Cat to resume. That is until I hear it again, followed by a muffled voice.

"Tango?" I call out loudly. The voice stops as the strange noise continues ever so often. "Tango babe is that you?" Silence. Yeah that's him. "Whatcha up to up there love?" The muffled voice returns for a moment before sounding out louder.

"N-nothing!"

"Uh huh, that's not suspicious at all." I continue to clean up around our underground home, listening carefully above me.

"H-hey soooo, um, what're you up to?" Tango calls out. Smooth. I giggle.

"Nothing much. Just tidying up, listening to the jukebox."

"Oh you have the jukebox on?"

"Yep. Why?" A small smile spreads across my face.

"Oh n-nothing!"

"Okay..." A few moments of silence go by. Alright, now I have to know. Placing the books of enchanting I was attempting to sort away onto the dining table, I start making my way towards the entrance to our home, but just as I round the corner to the doorway hallway, a large brown furry creature walks into me.

"What the hell-?"

"No come back here you!" Tango whisper shouts, turning around, then realizing I've caught him.

"Heh. Hi." Glancing down at the fuzzy mammal, it clicks.

"Tango, my love."

"Yes?"

"Is- are you doing what I think you're doing."

"At this point, it's highly likely."

"So you were just a few minutes ago trying to sneak, probably the only two cows on the server, into our home?"

"...yes..?" This is going to be a long day.
