What if everything we know is a lie. What if there was a world before this world. A more advanced civilization. Maybe billions of years ago there was a terrible war and the leader of the world decided to just wipe the slate clean like in the last episode of the first season of The Walking Dead when the CDC underwent 'Facility-Wide Decontamination'. What if before the World Wide Decontamination, the person who started all of it sat down and wrote out a new story for the world. A story that we could handle.
What if everything we know was made up to protect us from the truth.
