You were cooking some tea for yourself and your boyfriend, Nathan. He was due to be home any minute and you were planning on telling him the news you had received 6 weeks ago.

You'd left it that long because you couldn't find the right to tell him. You also didn't have the courage so you hid it, but he knows that somethings bothering you.

You hear him walk through the door and shut it.

"Hey babe." He says as you jump a little bit.

"Hey, Nath." You reply.

"Are you okay, (y/n)? You're a bit jumpy today and you look nervous." He says as you nod once.

"I'm fine, I promise." You say as he nods and sits at the table.

You place his food in front of him and sit opposite him just staring at your own.

"Right, somethings bothering you, (y/n). What is it? I caan tell. Lately you'jve been really jumpy, you've beeen distant, you've not been reaally active, happy and talkative like you used to. Whats going on?" He asks concerned as you stand up.

He stands up and pulls you yowards him in a hug.

"Promise you wont get mad at me and leave me? Promise that I can tell you anything?" You say as he nods, "Say it."

"Baby, look at me. Ipromise you that I wont get mad at you and I wont leave you and of course you can tell me anything." He promises looking into your eyes as you divert you eyes somewhere else.

"I'm pregnant." You say as he lets go of you and pushes you away from him.

"What?" He says as you look at him, the tears starting to fall.

You knew he didn't mean it. You knew he pushed you away out of shock, but it still hurt you.

"I'm pregnant. You're gonnaa be a daddy, Sykes." You say as he opens his arms.

You run into his arms as he lifts you up and spins you around.

"This is perfect. How far along are you?" He asks as you fill him in on all the details.

You were so happy.
