"So, you really didn't get over me, did you?" You ask as he shakes his head.

"No, I really didn't. I thought I would've, but I can't." He says as you sigh.

"Nathan, when we were together, I felt like you didn't care about me because honestly you didn't show it. While reading the letter you gave me, I realized something. You do care about me. You just didn't know how to show it. That's why you acted like a dick all the time." You stop before finishing, "You had a bad breakup with a girl and lost her for good and that made you act the way you did. You just didn't want to lose me and you didn't know how to not lose me when all you had to do was not be a dick." You say as he laughs nervously.

"Will, you have me all figured out, don't you?" He ask as you wrap your arms round his neck and hug him.

"I guess I do." You reply as he smiles and presses his lips against yours.

Without thinking, you kiss him back and smile.

He pulls away as you smile at him but then frown.

"Shit. I've just cheated on my fiance." You say as Nathan sighs.

"Oh yeah, him." He says as you look at him.

"I don't wanna hurt him, Nathan." You say before calling his assistant to talk to him.

"Hello." She says as you look at Nathan.

"Hello, can you get hold of my fiance by any chance?" You ask as you hear him in the background.

"Hurry up, your gonna end up killing me here." You hear him say.

"Uh... He's your fiance?" She asks as you sigh.

"Yes." You say as she sounds nervous.

"He told me that he's single." She says nervous as the tears start falling from yours eyes as you hang up.

He's hurt you more than you wouldn't hurt him.

"What?" Nathan says as you turn to him.

"Here's been having an affair with his assistant." You say as Nathan hold you while you sob into his chest.

"Sh, sh. It's okay, baby. It's okay." He says rubbing your back softly.

"Nathan, what did I do wrong?" You ask as he hugs you.

"Hey, do you wanna move back in here to get away from him and ask of this shit?" He asks as you nod.

You were staying again, but as friends first.
