Four Stories

Kai Winters

Kai Winters was born in a white wolf pack located on Mount Odins in Canada. White wolves are especially adapted to the snow and cold because their fur coats have special properties. White wolves are rare, but not for this reason alone. There were only 50 white werewolves in the world and they were all hidden in this mountain pack. Just recently their numbers increased by one.

His father was a huge dominant Alpha wolf with red tribal markings that appeared during challenges on his white fur; many white wolves having similar tribal markings appear when they find their mate. His daddy was a slender white wolf that was a dominant omega. Every day, Kai saw how much the two loved each other more than their own lives.

Tyran, Kai's Papa, and William, Kai's daddy, were playing in the snow together with their pup who was only eight years old one snowy afternoon. Unlike normal werewolves, white wolves can shift almost immediately into their wolf form; usually at birth or within two years. 

Kai was practically swimming in the snow, chomping at it here and there. Kai's pup form was pure white like his daddy, most getting their white coats when they were older. From his small size and scent, his parents knew that he was an omega. Only time would tell if he was dominant or average. It didn't matter to his parents though because Kai was their sweet, innocent pup. They would not let anything harm him for he was the embodiment of their love and bond together.

Kai heard his Papa chuckle at him, hopping in the snow towards the giant wolf. Kai suddenly disappeared before being lifted up by his scruff out of the deep snow by his daddy, who laid him on his Papa's back playfully.

Kai scrambled up on the wide back, nibbling on his Papa's ear who licked and nuzzled his pup's soft belly. Kai fell off his Papa before landing on his back in the fluffy snow, his little paws waving in the air happily. Will nuzzled and crooned at his sweet baby, his parents scenting him happily. Tyran and Will felt their hearts beat with joy for their only son. Male pregnancies weren't rare amongst the werewolf population, but they weren't common either; all a blessing by the Moon Goddess. 

Kai yawned sleepily, walking in a few tight circles before snuggling into his Papa's chest between his massive paws.

I think he likes you love, Will giggled through their mind link, Tyran harrumphing at him but his beloved could feel his powerful Alpha's heart melting. Tyran tugged on Will's ear happily before nuzzling and licking his mate, Will snuggling into his mate's side.

I love you Ty, Will sighed happily, his head resting over Tyran's paws so his cheek was against their pup.

I love you too Will, Tyran whispered, laying his head over his smaller mate's shoulders.

A howl rang out suddenly from one of their warriors who must have been scouting their territory. The pack was under attack! Rogues. 

Take the pup! Tyran yelled, running towards the pack grounds with Will on his tail; holding their pup by the scruff of his neck. Tyran's eyes were darting around their surroundings, racing between the trees with his mate to get back to the safety of their home.

Stay in the house! Tyran barked, red tribal marks bleeding across his white fur coat. Power radiated from him dangerously, Will's heart spiking in terror.

Please be safe, my love, Will begged giving a last nuzzle to his mate. Kai crooned and wriggled to get closer to his Papa whose large muzzle pressed against his belly, breathing in deeply between his mate and their pup.

Fire. Everywhere. The smoke alone was suffocating. A pup that shifted back into a child, lay crying under his bed; alone. His daddy, dead on the floor along with his Papa; the two protecting their precious baby with their last breath. Blood pooled onto the wood floor. It was sticky on his fingers. His daddy's eyes were still bright and wide like they were looking at Kai with the terror the little boy felt go through his whole body.
