On my way home from practice today my mom told me about the Boston marathon bombings. I was speechless. Once I got home I read about it on twitter.
The great thing is that for a single person that does these horrible things you have hundreds and thousands of people who volunteer, give blood, and help as much as they are able to. It brings people together, it forces is to work as a team. That makes this country great.
The bad aspect of this is that the media exploits it too much. I understand we want to show our support and respect for all of the victims. The memorial sessions and all are great I'm not against them. I'm just saying that the culprit if not contained just gets joy out of seeing others grieve and it gives other psychopaths ideas.
Go ahead make a news report out of it educate the public on what's happening, they want to know. Just don't drag it on for days with constant updates. Educate the public and tell us when the culprit is caught .
Sorry, for the mini rant but I it was something I needed to point out.
