Bakugo:
"Hey!" yells a young voice.
Oh joy... we're all saved... another toddler with something to prove. Henry Yamada comes charging out of the building. A bubble of red see-through material goes up around him... I think it's blood... It hardly matters as the kid swings his right arm and makes a clone, probably transferring to it before the bubble solidifies, so it can't be seen through.
I'll give this to that particular toddler- he's quick. Kinda why I wanna fight him again when he stops being, ya know, a kid.
Pillars shoot up as Henry charges forward, trying to change his angle of attack as he moves randomly so Blondie can't nail him.
I should be concentrating on finishing the fight, but... damn it, girl... I run to Hotaru. She's lying on the ground, barely able to move. She looks up and grabs my arms as I kneel next to her. She's in so much pain. You can see it on her face. Two of her fingers are bent in the wrong direction, her chin looks split, and as a bonus, because she was standing next to the building when she got smacked, the girl has a big red lump on the back of her head where she was hit back into the school's stone wall. She's shaking as she holds onto me.
I'm FURIOUS! Hotaru is my mentee, and this freak dared to screw with her?
I return to my feet just in time to see Henry make one misstep and have a pillar come up under one of his feet. The boy seems to pivot strategy quickly, and instead of being forced into the splits, he flies back a few feet and drops to his back.
Well, that only delayed his demise long enough for me to delay it again as I swing my hand toward Mr. Ponytail. BOOM!
I finally get a good blast on the guy, Blondie, being sent sprawling over the dirt and rolling several times. However, I guess it's not enough, as the man slaps the ground again. As Henry gets up, a pillar shoots up and nails him on the left.
The preteen boy is sent spinning in the air, and I swear I see blood. Henry slams into the ground and seems to choke.
No-no, I'm not losing someone! Damnit, I'm better than this! These kids might be dumb, but they count on me! I send three more blasts at the blonde guy, forcing him to roll on the ground again. As he staggers to his feet, I start walking towards him. Henry tosses his black hat at the man for some reason- probably a last act of defiance- don't worry about it, little guy, I got this.
I pull back my right hand to unleash another attack when- what- WHAT!?
In Henry's cap, I see his clone appear with his utility knife out and deployed. The clone spins in the air and drives that knife into Blondie's shoulder, using rather perfect coordination to drive the blade down. It digs into the man's muscles. It breaks off, as you might imagine, given how tough this guy is, but having a thin three-inch blade broken off into your shoulder will leave an impression.
The man starts to hobble as three red blades suddenly slam into his side.
The red blades suddenly de-materialize into dust, which zips back to Vlad, who apparently fired them.
"So- you thought you could just come in and attack us without consequences?" comes a voice behind me. I see Ectoplasm walking calmly toward Blondie with ten or so of his clones standing behind him. Ecto's beige coat billows in the wind as he moves forward.
I sigh in relief, gently starting to position Hotaru on her back so I can examine her injuries. Henry's clone sighs, then snaps his fingers, the injured version of Henry disappearing from the ground. So, I guess that means he transferred to the clone... Henry's power is simple in theory, but wow, it is hard to track.
