"Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitccchh." I felt several pokes and jabs at my stomach, and someone shaking my shoulders at least a dozen times. Opening one eye, I realized it was Connor. I groaned at him.

"Go away. I don't want to go to class, Con."

"But you do want to see my beautiful face." Connor sat down on top of me, crushing my spine. I groaned more.

"Nooooo I'm literally dying," I breathed, kicking my legs with everything I had. He laughed, and he moved to my side so he could pull me close to him.

"C'mon, Mitchie. You can't miss class." He kissed my temple, and then my cheek. I closed my eyes and smiled. "I can't keep covering for you."

"But I don't want to," I mumbled.

"Yes you do. Am I going to have to make you get out of bed?" He ran his hand through my messy hair, and I hummed. "I swear I'll tickle you until your you laugh so hard, your pancreas will liquefy."

I gasped for dramatic effect.

"That's so gross. And you wouldn't."

"Watch me. I would." Connor pinned my arms down to the bed, and he hovered over me with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes at him. "I hate you."

"I love you too, Mitchie." Connor kissed my nose. "Don't you ever forget it."

It's quite numbing to have somebody to kiss again. I don't know anymore if I can compare him Scott, because Connor has literally been here for everything good and bad and the other stuff. Even when I don't want him to be. He masks my pain and sometimes I get a little joy from him.  He's annoying and an ass. But he's also cute, charming and sweet.

"I'm still not going to school today." He sighed.

"If you're not, I'm not either." He laid down on top of me, resting his chin on my chest. I stared down at him, confused.

"You never skip..."

"Yeah I do. Only when I have a reason."

"And what is the reason, exactly?" I asked.

"I want to see you as much as I think about you. And I missed your cuddles." He smiled at me, and I blushed. "And I really love your blush."

"Are you sure you want to skip? All I'm probably going to do all day is watch old Disney movies."

"Sounds good to me, Mitchie." Connor pecked my lips, smiling. I couldn't help but beam.

"It's a date, then."

"You know it."
