After we let Chiron know I was at camp, Percy went back to bed. I decided to go for a walk by the beach. It always calmed me down, being the son of Poseidon and all. I was so sad Ella couldn't come with me, but she was needed on Olympus so we had to split up. Ella wasn't my girlfriend or anything, but she was my friend ,and I missed her. I was walking by the beach and saw a strange looking rock that I hadn't noticed before. I walked up to it and found it wasn't a rock at all. It was a young girl.
I didn't know what to do. Her clothes were tattered and torn. Nothing to figure out where she was from.
"Hey,  are you ok?" I asked quietly. She didn't move or say anything.  I quickly pulled off my shirt and put it on her. But I couldn't just leave her there. I almost called for Percy ,but I didn't want to wake him again. I didn't know how she would get in the barrier unless she was a demigod.
So I picked her up much more gently than I hugged Percy. When I had her in my arms, she moved her head into my chest. She looked so peaceful. Well at least I knew she was alive. I started towards cabin number 3. When I got to the door, I was about to open it when her head started to move again. Her eyes fluttered open. Gods they were beautiful. They were sea green like Percy's but had wisps of grey like a storm in the ocean. She looked me straight in the eye and didn't even scream like most people. Instead she moved her head to her former position and said
"I am safe. Finally I am safe." Then she fell back asleep.
