Ambrosia

It was time for capture the flag. Apparently this was a brutal game, full of battle strategies and war. The winners got the best shower times. The Poseidon, Hades , Athena, Hephaestus, and Apollo cabins were on one team and the Ares, Aphrodite, Demeter,Dionysus, and Hermes cabin on the other. The teams were pretty even, though the other team had Ares on your team they had the strength, but we had the powerful gods and the Athena campers had battle strategies. Apollo are like ninjas in the night, swift and powerful. Where we hid the flag was close enough to the brook that Percy and I could use our powers to guard the flag. Chiron blew his minotaur horn that Percy had let him borrow. The game began. The Hermes cabin set all kinds to traps to get to their flag. Most of our people were caught in the traps but, we still had our skyteam that drifted silently through the trees.

The Hephaestus cabin had set traps of our own and we had caught a lot of the other teams players. I knew someone was approaching silently. I could sense it. The water from the brook started to wrap around the flag like a cage. This one was impossible to penetrate without speed quicker than lightning. Clarisse a daughter of Ares jumped down from the trees and attacked me. I had little training, but I could block her attacks. I stepped in the brook and felt stronger instantly. I began block her attacks and countering them. She slipped on a rock and fell. Her sword was out of reach. I held my sword to her throat daring her to move.

I wasn't going to win like this. I willed myself to hold out my hand to her. She grabbed it and tried to pull me down. I held my stance and let go of her and she fell once again. She looked angry. The horn sounded and I held my hand out again. This time she slapped it away and got up on her own. Percy willed the water off of Clarisse.

"Watch yourself, scum." She said turning toward me.

"You shouldn't talk that way to a goddess, Clarisse. You will get my father and Athena angry." Percy countered.

"Percy, it's fine." I started to walk away when Clarisse barreled towards me and knocked me down. The pod that I had forgotten that was in my pocket broke. Green smoke came out of my pocket making the shape of a short human slowly forming a solid being. Michael was a short young man with brown eyes and black hair.

" How the Hades did I get here?" he said.

" Michael, we brought you back. It was for a prophecy." I said as I got up.

"I'm Ambrosia, child of Poseidon and Athena. How are you feeling?"

"Great actually. Not that I would complain." Michael said sassily. Clarisse was still in the brook staring.

"This is who you chose. Him. You could pick anyone and you picked him. Thank you." Clarisse was in tears. Michael smiled and helped her up.

"I get my chariot back you know," he said snickering

"No you don't. It's attached at my hip." Clarisse said patting her hip.

"How did you get that done?"

"Little help from the Hephaestus cabin."

"Percy?" I whispered.

"Yes Ambrosia."

"Is there something going on that I need to know about?"

"I'm as clueless as you are."

"Should we give them space or..."

"Yes let's leave before Clarisse kills us." Percy and I headed back to camp. I needed to find Annabeth and ask her how Tyson came back to life. After looking for a half an hour I found Annabeth with her half-brothers and sisters practicing at the archery range.

"Annabeth I need to ask you something."

"Anything Ambrosia. Hold on. Guys take 5. What do you need?"

"I wondered if you had any ideas on how Tyson came back?"

"Well, I figure the reason your name is Ambrosia because you can heal. You probably have a blessing from Apollo himself after he meet you. You kinda did the whole 'Tangled' thing with your tears."

"Thank you Annabeth I don't think I could have figured it out myself."

"No problem." Annabeth finished before going back to her training.
