Chapter 7

Ambrosia

I went to the bathroom and started to change when I noticed these little scars on my back and sides. I quickly ignored it and continued getting on the dress. I looked at the dress I was wearing. The dress was beautiful. Tyson looked at me the same way he looked at me when I woke up. Like I was different than anyone he has met.

"Wow. I mean... Wow," was all he could say. I smiled the dress was beautiful, but I didn't think I was even pretty, but Tyson must have thought differently.

"Ambrosia can I do something with your hair. The color is beautiful." Piper asked nicely. I trusted her. My hair was straight, long and a light golden color. When I had looked into her eyes, I did not have to look long. After a split second, I knew she was kind and was respected. I nodded wondering what she would do. While she played with my hair like I was a doll, we talked while Tyson tinkered with a few nuts and bolts. She did a simple crown braid with a silver piece of ribbon that went down my back. When she was done, everyone had to go to the big house for a special announcement.

When we got to the Big House, the campers were loud. All of the campers were wondering what was going on. Chiron was trying to get everybody to calm down when Percy and Leo looked at each other, and Percy started making it rain ,and Leo set himself on fire screaming the lyrics to "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. Everyone was soaked except Ambrosia, Piper and me because Piper always came prepared to these meetings because you never knew what would happen. When Piper saw Leo and Percy nod , Piper gave us all umbrellas.
