I entered the room of requirement, where Draco and I had arranged to meet for the last time. He believed it would be better to end our relationship, before the war broke out. He didn't want me to be killed by the death eaters.
I sat in the window seat, away from the table, which had a vase of dead flowers in it.
I checked my watch- 7.39. He was supposed to be here almost 10 minutes ago!
I decided to explore the room as I have never seen this version of the ROR. I ran my hand across the mahogany table, before something caught my eye.
A single blue flower rested amongst the dead ones. Confused I picked it out and immediately recognised it.
It was a Forget-Me-Not.
A single piece of paper was attached to the flower. On it was one simple sentence.
Saying goodbye is the most painful way of solving a problem but I guess goodbyes are the only perfect thing we have left.
I love you Hermione.
He was asking me not to forget him.
He was saying goodbye.
