7 | mistake

He was finally going to do it. It had been two years and Draco thought it was time. He went out to the shop and bought a bunch of roses, but only took one with him, discarding the rest in the bin. He felt that one was more romantic. He climbed to 80 steps to his and Hermione's apartment, where he took out kiss key and unlocked the door.

And the rose tumbled to the floor.

Hermione had her face pressed up against Theodore Nott and was kissing him.

"Draco...!" Hermione gasped. She got of the couch and ran towards him. Draco didn't even notice. He was too engrossed in his thoughts. She tried to take his arm but he threw her to the ground.
"Why would you---" Draco trailed away. "No it doesn't matter. I hope you two are happy together!"

Hermione began crying and before she knew it Draco had thrown the item he was holding to the ground and left slamming the door behind him.
She sank to the floor as reality kicked in. Why had she done that.

"Theo, get out." He obliged, leaving Hermione to her mess.

It was only then that she picked up the small box from the floor and opened it. A small silver ring fell out, with a square diamond in the middle.

He was going to propose, and she blew it.

I'm really sorry for the anti Dramione I just wanted one like this. I dreamt about this. It was a good dream. I might make this a short story.

Maybe.

If I have time.

Which I probably won't.

But at least it's an idea.
