  "So let me get this straight." Draco said with a raised eyebrow.
 "Every year, Muggles tell their children that an old fat man named Nicholas, or rather Santa Claus, decides if they're brats or not and gives the brats coal, but gives the good kids presents, and kids grow up believing this until one day, the parents tell their children otherwise, ruining their childlike sense of joy in the process.

Hermione smacked his arm."Honestly Draco you make it sound like such an awful thing, but Santa is an amazing thing for children! You get to write him letters, and leave out cookies for him, and carrots for his reindeer....."

Draco's eyebrows crept into his hair.

"So now he's a waste of paper, cookies, carrots, and enslaves innocent reindeer?" Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Please. All nine of those reindeer are perfectly happy with him!"

"You just said that Santa wasn't real!"

"That doesn't mean the reindeer aren't!"

Draco rolled his eyes, but he was fighting a grin off his face. "Your telling me that Santa isn't real, but his magical flying reindeer are?" He asked Hermione dryly.

"Yes - there's Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph."

"Rudolph?" Draco snickered into his hand.

"Yes - what's wrong with Rudolph?"

"Well I mean, you have names like Dancer, and Cupid, and Blitzen, but then..... Rudolph." 

Hermione wore a poker face.

"Yes - Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer."

Draco lost it. He burst into laughter, doubled over on his side as tears streamed down his cheeks.

"His nose is red?!" He exclaimed between breaths. Hermione hid her own grin behind a hand.

"Yes - and it glows."

Draco laughed again, pulling his wife of two years into his arms."I love you, Hermione." He whispered into her hair. Hermione looked up at him, intelligent brown eyes shining."I love you too."
