Chapter 22

"Bethany! Get up now!" I heard someone scream. Today was the day, back to school. Ugh! I can't believe it.

But on the plus side, I'm only actually in school for one week. After that, we go on tour. I'm so pumped.  Although I do have to do online schooling. But we only have shows on Fridays and weekends. Plus, I can do it anytime I like. As long as I'm done all my assignments on time. It's pretty sick yo

The past two weeks have been action packed, and so much fun. When we got back from Hawaii, Hayes and I legit have spent everyday together. We've mostly just hung out, and chilled. We are going great. We did a mini-meet up thing with Nash as well. I had cheer practices like crazy, and my parents paid for extra privates to catch up on what I missed.

Hayes had his football try outs the other day, and made the team, but is back up QB and only plays when he's there. I had cheer tryouts for school the other day as well, and being head cheerleader, I got to choose everyone who was going on the team. Which was hard because I feel so guilty when some people don't Make it. My co-captain aha agreed to take over a lot of the year because I won't be there. Now let's get one thing clear, the constant stereo-type of cheerleaders is not at all true. Everyone on my teams have and are so sweet.

What else hmmmm..... OH YEAH! Shabana posted a video on YouTube that went viral, so she's coming on tour too. Her and cam are going well, I think they miss each other though,  long distance is really hard. Trust me. Matt and Lauren started dating, but they had to break it up. I'm not quite sure though.

Yesterday I went to get some uniform stuff that I needed. The sucky part of this school is yes we have to wear uniform, but only for 2/5 days. The rest you can dress yourself. The Jacks and I have planned to start writing our new song. There's lots of people going on this tour and I'm so excited.

Shawn couldn't come, he's going on tour by himself! We are all so proud of him! But the people who are coming on tour are

And maybe some other people, but we aren't sure yet. They may be added throughout the tour. I'm so hyped for this tour.

I'm doing better with the whole Maeve thing. When I was in Hawaii my parents changed her room into a spare bedroom.

"BETHANY" I heard my mom yell

"IM UP IM UP" I yelled back.

I got up and went into my washroom. I put on some mascara, eyeliner, and foundation. I brushed my teeth and hair and then put on lipgloss. Hayes was coming to pick me up at 7:30, because first bell is at 7:45. It's now 7:00 so I have 30 minutes. I went into my closet and turned to my ugly uniform section. I grabbed a kilt, and a white Golf shirt. I also grabbed a pair of black uggs, because that's the colour our shoes have to be. They are low and really comfy. Our school colours are Maroon, grey, navy and white. It's really ugly. I grabbed my school bag. I packed a portable charger, a lock, notepad, binders, computer, earphones, wallet, lined papers and hand sanitizer.

I walked out of my room with my backpack on one shoulder and phone in hand. I quickly went downstairs. I grabbed a banana and put some peanut butter on it.  I ate that and looked at my phone. It is 7:27. I grabbed an apple incase I was hungry throughout the day. I said my goodbyes to my family and walked out of the door. I sat on a chair on our balcony and went on my phone.

I tweeted some people and then looked up, Hayes pulled down his car window

"You coming or what?" He screamed.

I hopped up and grabbed my backpack. I walked over and jumped into the front seat.

"Long time since I've seen you in a kilt" he smirked. He put the car into ignition and started driving. We talked about how we only had one week of school and then we got to do it online together. I'm really excited actually.

We got to school and went straight to the library, it's 7:36. It doesn't take us Long to get to school.

We went in and got our schedules. We had first, second and fourth period together first day. And second day we had one, two and three. So we had most classes together which I'm happy about.

We went outside and said hi to everyone. We all really had the same friends, I guess you could say we were one of those 'popular' cliques, but we weren't mean and stuff.

The day flew by. Before I knew it I was at lunch. I went to my locker quickly and grabbed my wallet, so I could buy some fries or something. I also grabbed my binder for next class so I didn't have to go back to my locker.

As I was going to lunch I spotted Hayes with.... A GIRL? SHE WAS THE SCHOOL SLUT. WTF

I stood there watching. I couldn't move my body, and the feeling got WAYYYYY worse when I turned my back and walk away to just Ignore it, but then I heard all these gasp's and I turned around.

My fucking boyfriend was kissing another girl. I ran down the hall passing them crying. I went right for the girls washroom and locked my self in a stall.

Why did he do that. What the hell is happening right now. It's been one year. A whole year. And he's cheating on me with some slut? We were going so well. Honestly. Or so I thought.

Can I talk to you?

I sent the text. She would know what to do. Immediately I got a call and I picked it up.

M- BABE ARE YOU OKAY?

I was crying more and more. I shook my head and said no really softly.

We had a long conversation about what was happening and she told me she would call when we were done school, and just avoid Hayes until we can figure things out. Which I thought was good advice actually. I got out of the washroom and re-did my makeup.

I quietly walked out and checked my phone. It was 1:30 and class starts in... Right now.

I raced down the hall and went straight to math. I got in and everyone looked at me, including Hayes. And of course, the only seat left was right beside Hayes'.

I walked in and sat down, ignoring Hayes all together and avoiding interaction with him.

"You okay babe" he asked. I looked at him and then turned my face the other way. He tried to grab my hand, but I pulled it away and focused on the board.

Why is this happening to me. I didn't do anything to deserve this. I didn't do anything wrong either. He kept trying to pass notes and talk to me, but I just ignored it. I started crying a little but I held the rest back.

Love can't last forever, there's bumps along the road. But everything will be alright in the end. And if it's not alright, it's not the end.
