GREYSON

I chased her upstairs and yelled, "You're gonna pay for this!" Then,  she looked back and stuck her tongue out. Before I could even enter, she locked herself up inside.

"Open up, Clint!" I demanded, continuously banging the door with my fists.

"No freaking way!"

"I said open up!"

"You're not my Dad to tell me what to do!"

There was a moment of silence. A mischievous smile was painted on my lips as I thought of a plan.

"Belle, your sister's outside!" Staci called. She quickly opened the door without any hesitation and I jumped onto her.

This was the most awkward position I ever had in my whole life.

Lub dub. Lub dub. Lub dub.

Shit.

I stood and dusted my outfit. There was no single word coming out from our mouths until she spoke a few moments later.

"Gotta go now, Staci. Promise I won't make a mess again!" I heard her saying those upstairs. She flew past me and extended her arm to reach the doorknob but before twisting it, she turned and muttered, "We're not yet done, Chance." glared and left with a snarl on her face.

BELLE

"Ouch! Damn!"

"Shut up. This is the only cure for that. What happened to your back?"

"I..I don't know. He pushed me, I fell and yeah." I lied, careful not to mention about the awkward truth.

"Next time, don't let him do that to you. I'll kill him for sure."

"It was unexpected, Elaine. I'm so stupid to believe that you're waiting outside Staci's."

"And why would I? I don't even know where it is!"

"Right. I'm so gullible."

My back hurts a lot plus add the sting caused by the medicine Elaine invented and it's because of that douche bag named Grayson Chance. My bad, I forgot to spell his name correctly. Well, whatever.

It was a fine day when I woke up. I kicked the sheets and stretched my arms. I slipped my feet through my slippers and started the day with a smile. I greeted my siblings with a "Good Morning!" and headed to the restaurant. As usual, I found Justin sipping his coffee.

"Hey, can I sit with you here?"

"Yeah sure."

"Hmm... where's your family?" I asked out of the blue. Sure I really don't know how to start a nice conversation with people I had just gotten to know.

"They're in Oklahoma." He answered plainly.

"Are you in a bad mood? If yes, I better go now." I tried to stand up but he grabbed my arm and let me sit beside him.

"No. Stay."

"Okay."

"Are you friends with Greyson?" He suddenly asked.

"Why?" I lifted an eyebrow. What's his connection with Grey, I mean Gay?

"Nothing. Just askin'."

"Well, to be honest, no. I don't like him at all. He may be attractive but he's not like the innocent boy I've idolized for years."

"Phew!" He sighed in relief.
