GREYSON
“What time is it already?” I rubbed my eyes, wandering around the place. The plane has not yet landed and thankfully, I wasn’t the last one to wake up.
“Four thirty. Five minutes more!” She squealed silently beside me. We were careful again this time since we’re on a plane which had regular people and I’m afraid there are paps roaming around trying to get a picture.
I blew a sigh. God, I’ve slept for three hours but hopefully, that was enough to fill my tiredness from last night’s adventure. Thought it was a dream though but no, I actually pulled her into a dangerous state. And I feel sorry for that. The cops captured us but we were celebrities and I claimed that we got lost in the middle of town so they gave us a ride (even if they don’t really need to). Moronic people.
“We’re here!” She whisper-yelled, a broad smile spreading across her face. It seems like no one’s gonna stop her happiness.
“Alright.” I grinned, pulling her hand as we both made our exits. It gave me a good feeling, knowing I made her so happy feeling.
Then, her stomach growled all of a sudden, following mine’s first sound.
“Oops. Don’t you think it’s time for a snack?” I asked.
“Right! I know where to go!” She said, dragging me altogether with her huge trolley bag. We hailed a yellow taxi cab and put our things at the back, just before everyone caught us and sped off to somewhere I don’t know. Sure I was born in Texas but I never got to roam around in this place.
BELLE
I paid the driver with fifty dollars and got out immediately when we reached our perfect destination. Here in Austin TX, we got the best local coffee shop in town which I loved to go in every day; Glasco’s Coffee Zone. I only stopped when I decided to go to Burbank to get myself a music career. Man, I miss their caramel latte so much.
As I stepped a foot in the place, everyone recognized me; not Belle Clint as an artist, but Belle Clint as the normal girl in town. But somehow, this place gave me a feeling of sadness. I never knew why.
“Belle!” Miranda hollered, her eyes widened in great surprise. I was amused by her funny expression.
“How are you?”
“I’m great.” I grinned. “Can we have some snacks this time, please?”
“Oh sure.” She agreed. I cleared my throat, “Erm, Miranda, this is Greyson Chance, my handsome boyfriend and Grey, she’s Miranda.” Greyson’s cheeks turned pinkish at the moment I said ‘handsome’. Yes, he really is.
“Nice to meet you.” Greyson greeted in a low matured tone and shook hands with her.
Miranda smiled in return, “Take a seat over there. And may I get your order?”
“Yeah sure. Caramel latte for me.”
Miranda remarked, half-chuckling, “I’m not surprised.”
“Same goes with me.” Greyson said.
“Is that all?” We nodded both and proceeded finding a seat only for the both of us, dragging our heavy baggage along. Good thing the people here aren’t overreacting unlike what most would likely do every time a celebrity goes into a public place.
“I kind of notice that necklace every day. It’s beautiful but I was wondering why you don’t remove it. It’s always there-“
“Greyson, this pendant…is important for me. This contains a hundred of memories held in one single letter going with my first initial. Get it?”
