Chapter 7

"Hey there it's good to see you again, it never felt right calling this just friends, I'm happy if you're happy with yourself. Take off your shirt your shoes, those skinny jeans I bought for you [...] I'm gonna break down this walls, I built around myself, I wanna fall so in love, with you and no one else,"

"I thought you were the one winning me back?" Gerard scoffed, walking slowly and unsteadily.

"Hey, you were the one who offered," Frank grinned, tightening his arms around Gee's neck as the latter stopped moving to raise Frank higher on his back by his thighs. "Turn to the left right there behind that tree,"

"I can't believe you're making me carry you like a small child on my back, Frank," Gerard whined before blowing a strand of hair that had fallen over his eyes, and then turned to the left after the tree Frank had told him.

"I hurt my ankle, you offered, I saw the chance and took it," The shorter of the two then jumped off Gerard's back and adjusted the guitar strap on his shoulder, walking with no inconvenience. Gee crossed his arms; hurt his ankle my ass, he thought, but followed Frank nevertheless.

Frank ducked under a thick branch full of leaves, and Gerard followed his moves, a few leaves getting stuck in his red hair. He run his hands through it a few times, attempting to get the leaves out, and then raised his head.

Oh.

The tattooed man stepped forward with an amused smile and picked a green leaf from Gerard's hair before tossing it to the side and walking backwards slowly.

"I don't have a cheesy cliff to see the city's lights, but I felt this was nice enough," Frank motioned to the bridge behind him. The younger man was stood in between what appeared to be logs lying sideways; all set up in a circle, and smaller sticks lay burnt in the middle of it.

Gerard gave Frank a small sincere smile.

Whilst, on the inside, his heart was swooning as hard as he was over Frank; first, he shows up at his house and fucking serenades him a Blink-182 song, and now he took him to a beautiful lagoon he didn't even know existed? Come on, there had to be a catch.

"So, uh," Frank started as he kicked at the dirty sand below his feet and motioned to the arranged logs. "I thought I should explain,"

Gerard had completely forgotten about that in the midst of admiring the crooked bridge that stepped into the water. He felt stupid, and instead cleared his throat and nodded. How could he forget the reason why Frank had done all the romantic shit he did was to get Gerard back?

They sat, and Gee waited. For Frank to talk, for the explanation, for him to burst out laughing and tell him this was all a sick joke.

Frank was also waiting. For the right words to come to his mind, for a right way to tell Gerard how much of a dick he had been, and how in the middle of his surprise after Gerard told him about his real sex, he had forgotten his own sexuality wasn't cleared yet.

Glancing up at Gerard once again, Frank felt like a massive idiot. How could he kick Gee out of his house like that, only because he had a dick?

"You're-" Frank started at the same time Gerard said "I'm sorry,". The tattooed man frowned.

"What are you even sorry about? I was a complete and utter prick, you have every reason to hate me," He smiled humorlessly, resting his elbows on his knees and rubbing his hands together. "I kicked you out of my fucking house because you were honest with me; I was an asshole when I didn't even stop to think for a single second,
