There wa something up with Hercules. I could tell. I wanted to talk to him about the dance, but every time I got near him, he would run away screaming! He wouldn't talk to me or even look at me! I was worried I had done something wrong. I ended up crying a lot and Polometheus would hig me and tell it was alright.
"Perhaps he only pretended to like you. You don't belong in his crowd anyway. You belong in a crowd of important people." Polometheus said one day, as I sobbed when I tried to give Hercules a note, but he had thrown it away.
"You're probably right." I said, wiping my eyes. "Maybe I should just go back to hanging out with Adonis and his friends." Adonis gladly accepted Polometheus and I into his group of friends. Soon, I started ignoring Hercules. I dressed less and less like the shy pale daughter of the dead and more like Helen Troy. She was the most popular girl in the school and Adonis' girlfriend. We hung out more and whenever I saw Hercules, I would flip my hair and sashay away. If he was going to be rude to me, I was going to rude to him. Polometheus couldn't agree more. But then Cassandra had a problem. Apparently, she had seen a vision where they were at the upcoming. Harvest festival and there were mortals and gods and goddesses and she was kissing Icarus. This was revolting. And apparently, she had already talked to Hercules and he said that Icarus was picking her up at eight. So she was considering running away.
"But can you consider some godly intervention?" She asked, almost like she was begging. I smiled.
"No, problem." When it came to godly intervention, I was your girl. Then, I made a call.
"Hey dad! I think someone needs to make a deal!" I called. Then, in a puff of smoke, there he was.
"Hey, Silenia, kid, I love ya, but when I'm working, you need to not bring your chldish problems, to my front door, alright?" He was upset, I could tell, but this was something that he would be interested in.
"Daddy, this is my friend Cassandra. She's that seeer that you were looking into.in the catalog? Remember? When the Fates stopped working for you..." he waved his hands at me. I smiled. Ever since I had stopped hanging out with Hercules, I had become more of Daddy's evil little girl. I was taking after his ways that made people think that he was the bad guy. Including, my attempts to get Hercules out of the picture for Dad's big Olympian world takeover. I sent stronger monsters, better poisons, even took his little goat man trainer. Nothing! But I still had plans.. But anyway, Cassandra explained her problem to my dad and they came up with a deal where Cassandra would sell her soul to him for after schools and weekends. But she gets every other Sunday off. This was working out perfectly
Hercules' POV
I hated this stupid curse! I tried to go up to Silenia all the time or she's tried to come up to me, but I'd run away, without me wanting to! It always gave me a scare, so I would end up running away screaming. She must hate me. I have to look in a mirror to see her. I'd seen her try to give me a note, but the curse made me throw it away. I'd seen her crying to Polometheus all time. Then I saw that she started hanging out with Adonis and all them again. Now she would turn away from me! I so wish I could go up to her and tell her how I felt.
