Zach went over and looked at the girl in the coffin. He could see why she would be the treasure. She was beautiful, with pale, pale skin, black as night hair that reached her ankles, and a black dress with was longer in the back and reached her knees in the front. Her long black cloak reached all the way down to her bare feet and was rolled at the end, as if too long to fit in the coffin. Zach put his hand on the glass, then pulled it away, slightly scared. Then he heard someone coming and turned to see Austin coming into the room. His jaw dropped and walked over to the coffin.
"Holy crap dude!" He shouted. "You found a dead body!" Zach looked at her again. She couldn't be dead. If she had been dead, her skin would have been greyer. Plus, he could see her stomach moving up and down.
"I don't think she's dead." He mumbled. Austin gasped, then went down to the end of the coffin and began to pull. Zach panicked. "Dude! What are you doing?"
"Well we can't leave her here if she's dead! She suffocate! We should probably get her to the hospital." Zach agreed and pulled out his phone, dialing 911.
"911, what's your emergency?" said the calm voice on the other end of the phone.
"Hi, I, um, me and my friend, we uh, we found a girl. We found her under the House of Hercules. She's alive, but, we don't know how or how long she's been here." Zach stammered. He could hear the scratching of a pen in the background.
"Alright sir, an ambulance will be there in a few minutes. Until then, please see if you can carefully transfer her outside where we can get to her quicker."
"thank you." He said. Then he hung up and turned to Austin. "Help me get her out. We've got to get her outside so that the ambulance can get to her quicker!" Austin nodded, then helped Zach lift the glass case off, ignoring the rumbling of the earth beneath and above him and lifted her up bridal style, then he and Austin ran back down the corridor. When they got to the ladder, Zach gave the girl to Austin, climbed up the ladder, and took her from Austin so that he could get up the ladder. They ran out of the house and lay the girl on the grass just as the ambulance pulled up and paramedics popped out with a stretcher. They immediately ran over to the girl and lifted her onto the stretcher.
"Do you boys know this girl?" One of them demanded. Both boys shook their heads vigorously.
"We found her in a glass coffin. Under the house. She looked like Snow White with longer hair." The boys stumbled over their words. The paramedic nodded, then took the girl into the ambulance and shut the door, the ambulance driving away and leaving a cloud of exhaust.
