Universe found- [Code name:- Zero Dawn] [Powers:- Advanced Science]
"Oh, great! Another universe with advanced science!" Mei exclaimed, her eyes practically sparkling with excitement. "I just hope this one actually has something useful—something I can take inspiration from. Not another crumbling, dystopian mess like Rapture."
"Yeah," Melissa chimed in, nodding. "It'd be amazing to find tech we could adapt to improve our world. Not more of that chaos-inducing junk like plasmids and splicers."
Re-Destro let out a derisive snort, his eyes narrowing as he glared at the two young inventors. "Typical. Go ahead—waste your time and resources on fragile nobodies instead of using that brilliance to empower those who truly matter."
"We are empowering the people who matter!" Melissa rounded on him without hesitation, fire in her voice. "Every single person counts. Even the smallest cog in a machine keeps the whole thing running. But of course, a villain like you would never understand that."
The scene opens inside a cave as the camera pans over ancient cave paintings, showing people building homes and hunting creatures. A man walks in holding a torch, the light casting flickering shadows on the walls as he studies the images around him.
"This... doesn't look like a world with advanced science," Mina muttered, frowning as she squinted at the screen. "Is this thing broken? Or did whoever is showing us this seriously mislabel this universe?"
"Ashido, can you not jump to conclusions right away?" Jiro replied dryly, rolling her eyes. "We're literally looking at the first frame. Maybe try giving it more than five seconds?"
"H-Hey! I was just making an observation!" Mina stammered, cheeks flushing pink as she crossed her arms. "No need to call me out like that..."
A feminine voice narrates in the background, "We know we weren't the first ones here."
The man continues deeper into the cave and enters a room where a painting on the wall depicts the hollow frames of modern skyscrapers overrun by trees. "Our stories speak of the ones who came before... the Old Ones."
"Hmm... looks like some kind of post-apocalyptic world," Momo observed, narrowing her eyes as she studied the screen. "At least, that's what it seems like at first glance."
"Yeah... not the usual post-apocalyptic stuff we see in movies, but it definitely gives off that kind of atmosphere," Izuku added, leaning in slightly. His brows drew together in concern. "That said, what could have happened to Earth in that world if they're doing cave paintings like humans from the Paleolithic Era?"
"That's actually a really good point," Momo said, her thoughtful expression deepening. "Even if a major catastrophe occurred, as long as a portion of humanity survived, basic technologies—like pens, paper, or even rudimentary tools—should have been preserved. Cave paintings would be a massive step backward."
"I wouldn't say completely obsolete," Izuku replied. "They might still do them for cultural reasons or as a way to pass the time. But yeah, you're right—unless something even worse happened that completely wiped out that knowledge."
"The world of the Old Ones was so different from ours," the woman continued narrating as the scene showed two figures sneaking across the Plateau, the distant ruins of modern-day buildings looming in the background.
"That pretty much confirms it—this is a post-apocalyptic world," Nemuri remarked, her eyes narrowing as the screen displayed the ruins of once-towering skyscrapers. "And judging by how overgrown everything is, it looks like a lot of time has passed since the disaster hit. Nature's practically swallowed the old world whole."
