Five days later

Yoongi

"Dad, I'm busy. I can't." I replied curtly to his request

"You have to meet her. We have to go to a party this Saturday, what will people say—" I cut him off

"Fine, when?"

"Tomorrow."  I hung up immediately. I would Have talked to him better but, this? He knew I never wanted any of it. He can be with her for all he wishes.

What now? I have to meet the woman who ruined my family?
I rolled my eyes hard at that. Gosh, today's so hectic.

I get out of the class as I'm done with my last exam. I can go back to University tomorrow to teach Ofcourse.
Life's too busy.

I have to go see dad tomorrow and that witch. Not like she did anything to me but, Yeah she tries to be my mom ever since she married him. When she can never be. Last time I saw her was seven years ago.

I miss mom much more now.

I get in the dorm my bag slinging over a shoulder as walk through.
It's half past five already.

I got in my room.
What should I do?

"Hey Yoongi.." a feeble voice called me and I realised it was Jin hyung's from the other side of the door.

"What?" I opened the door for him, watching him stand there like a worried mother.

"How was your exam?"

"Fine." I replied shortly

"So uh.. is anything.. wrong?" I stared at him my heart fluttering with warmth. He's such a good hyung. I sighed realising I'm not getting away from this.

"Dad called." And I could see his expression waiting for me to elaborate as I let him in my room I sat on my chair while he did on the bed. "He wanted me to see her. His new wife."

"And what did you say?"

"Ofcourse I have to go. There's some fancy party of his on Saturday so he wants me to know her better tomorrow." I told him as stared at me.

"How do you feel about this?"

"To be honest like shit." A tear rolled down my eye as my voice cracked

"...is it because she's your step mother?" He asked hesitantly.

"It's because, he is just the same. The very same hyung. I'm just his puppet, he never loved my mother, now he brought this woman—" I'm shushed by his embrace as I cry for a while. Is it okay to break down like this?

"Don't worry. It'll be fine. We'll always be there for you."

Yet, I would never get the love I yearn for.

_

Next day, I was ready to go that house. The house I left, years ago. The house my mother died in.
I started my Car and soon it was filled with the soft hum of engine.
