I could tell you everything that happened after that night. I could tell you how magical the next day was for me, the way everything seemed like rainbows and sunshine, or the way Dahvie kept sneaking looks at me and blushing when I caught him, but I won't. First you'll have to hear the whole story Dahvie told me. You'll have to know how it filled me with such rage, such sadness. To know that a person could be so cruel. You have to know this because I don't want you to think that we just fell in love and it ended with a 'Happily Ever After' like some fairytale, because it wasn't like that. There was no fairy god mother to wave a wand and take us to the ball, there was no prince charming that came and rescued us from the fire breathing dragon, or wake us up with a kiss. We had to make our own way, cut the strings that prevented us from being who we wanted to be despite the jeers and hate we received. We had to, and still are, crossing a jungle full of wild animals that call themselves 'people', we were beaten and bruised, deprived of the one thing we felt we needed most. Acceptance. Not all of us come from a cushy family with money, we're not all provided with everything we want. No, we have to work for it, we wanted to tear ourselves away from what people these days call 'normal' we wanted to be our own person, be the voice that led the way for other people who struggled with the same issues we had, to let them know that they weren't alone. So now that you know this, let's get on to the stuff fairy-tales always leave out.

                                                                                                         -Jayy

Dahvie held my hand firmly as he dragged me behind him.

"Where are we going?" I asked out of breath.

"Somewhere where we can talk in private!" He shouted behind his shoulder.

There wasn't much I could do except fallow him, he led me through various streets until we arrived at a small park decorated for Christmas. Small twinkling lights hung from the trees, giving everything a warm golden glow. Red ribbons were tied around the trunks of the trees, and freshly fallen snow dusted the ground. A stroll through a park like this would normally have been romantic, but a feeling in my gut told me that this was going to be anything but happy. Dahvie has his arm looped through mine and glanced around nervously making sure we were alone, then, at a park bench he sat down and patted the spot next to him. motioning me to sit with him. Complying, I sat down and waited for Dahvie to start. Taking a deep breath, Dahvie turned and looked at me.

"Jayy...I really don't know how to begin." He wring is hands nervously.

"Just start from the beginning, whenever you're ready." I told him softly. Nodding, he began.

"It was a long time ago, when I had started middle school. I had started wearing makeup and dyeing my hair, everything was going fine, I'd only gotten a few weird looks, but other than that it was great, then..." Dahvie pauses for a moment, closing his eyes tight. "Then, it was time for gym. I walked into the locker rooms, and there was these guys. I don't know why they singles me out, probably because of the hair and makeup, but still. Two of them went to guard the doors while the third one advanced on me. He was gorgeous Jayy, brown wavy hair, chocolate colored eyes and long eyelashes, he was tall and slim, with a friendly smile."

Hearing Dahvie talk about someone like this, I have to admit, made me jealous, what if he had met up with this guy again, and he was leaving me?

"He told me things Jayy...things that made we want to do other things. I had never felt that way before, even if I had just met him, something about him felt so, real, so natural. So we went out, at first it was really nice. He was such  gentleman, and he wasn't afraid to show me off to his friends, and I thought that I had finally found my true love." Dahvie's hands were clenched tightly in his lap as he continued with his story. "But he tricked me Jayy! Everything he told me, was a lie! Everyone was in on it, they pretended to be happy for us, but they knew what he really had in mind!" Dahvie is crying now, tears slipping down his cheeks and onto his blue winter coat.
