Hey guys I'm sorry I haven't been updating as much, I started writing a new story. It only has one part so far, but I'm going to try updating both. Go check it out if you want! Anyway to recap, Casey switched schools for senior year, Sarah is pregnant, Ky and Lachlan are step bros. Enjoy part 17!
Casey's POV
I had been spending a lot of time with Lachlan since school started, and today he finally asked me out. I said yes, and he told me he would take me out somewhere, but he didn't say where.
I walked to 3rd period with a smile on my face, preparing myself for an hour next to Ky. He was really starting to piss me off, always answering my questions with snarky remarks.
I took a seat and was surprised when i didn't see Ky next to me. I looked around the room, locking eyes with Lachlan, him sending me a cute wink. I blushed a turned my head to the door, just as Ky walked in. He looked different today. He wasn't wearing his glasses, and his hair was a hot mess. And by that, I meant all the girls were staring and looking all flustered. I just shook my head and scoffed.
"Hey Adams, why are all the chicks making googly-eyes at me?" Ky asked as he sat down in his seat. I glanced at him, noticing for the first time how brown his eyes were. I changed my smile to a grimace as I recalled how big of a d-bag Ky was.
"You didn't put your glasses on today." I answered simply.
He looked amused. "Yeah I forgot them at home. I also forgot to put my beanie on earlier" he added, running a hand through his dark hair. "Does that drive girls crazy too or something?" he pointed at my face, most likely referring to how I was biting my lip.
"Oh, uh I don't know Ky, why don't you ask someone who cares?" I shot back.
"Sure, sure. I'll ask all the girls who are doing what you just did" he laughed.
I looked around and saw all the girls staring, and biting their lips. I rolled my eyes and huffed "whatever".

I rushed out of 4th period, accidentally knocking a girl over.
"Oops! I'm really sorry, I should have watched where I was going!" I said, pulling her up off the floor.
She picked up her bag and smoothed out her shirt, mumbling "It's fine", but then she recognized me somehow.
"Hey! You're Lachlan's girlfriend!" she said, placing her hands on her hips.
I laughed. "No, we aren't together. I'm Casey"
She shook my hand saying, "Shane. Shane Levitt."
I gave her a weird look.
"Yeah my parents are weird... So you AREN'T Lachlan's girlfriend? He's still available?" she giggled.
"Haha why? Do you have a thing for him?"
Her pale face went red, almost matching her ginger hair. "Well, most girls do. Why? Don't you?"
"Well he asked me out, and I said yeah, but I don't think it's gonna go anywhere."
She looked surprised. "Wow! Y'know, that usually means there's someone else" she said nudging my elbow. I rolled my eyes for the hundredth time today. "Do ya think you can introduce me?"
I thought for a minute. "Yeah sure. C'mon."

Lachlan's POV
I laughed at the joke Josh just told me, when out the corner of my eye, I spotted Cassandra coming this way. Josh noticed too, and he smacked my arm playfully. And then I saw, by Cassandra's side, the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen. She had dark green eyes, pale skin, and beautiful fire-like hair that blew around her face. I stared at her for a while, looking her up and down, until Josh elbowed me in the ribs.
