I just wanted to start off with a major thank you to everyone who reads this story. At first I thought it was just my friends who read it, but I don't have 1,000 friends sooooo. And wow! 1K reads! That is a huge success in my opinion. So please, keep voting and commenting, and I promise to try and update regularly. Enjoy part 12 :) And I know that in the beginning of the book, it says Sarah has English 1st period, but just pretend she got a schedule change xP
Sarah's POV
I woke up on Tuesday morning, dreading the day that is to come. I normally love school, but yesterday I spent the day trying to avoid Jake at all costs. And TODAY I had to write an Essay in English to try getting into the advance class. I just want to get this over with.
I dragged myself to Digmore High, my hair in a long straight braid down my back. I had English 4th period, so I wouldn't have to worry about the essay for a while. I spotted my friend Trevor over by the band room, so I walked over to chat with him.
"Hey Trevor" I said in a less-excited tone than usual.
He quirked an eyebrow at me. "Hey Sarah. What's wrong?"
I knew the moment I spoke, he knew something was bugging me. If I'm not in a happy mood, I'm practically transparent.
"Stress. I have a huge essay 4th period"
"What's so stressful about that? We have essays due almost every week" he said with a joking laugh
I sighed and put on a sad smile. "It's to determine if I get in the English Honors class." I didn't add that I was avoiding Jake, which also stressed me out.
He nodded. "Ah I see. Want some words of wisdom?"
"Please"
"Okay. Well, don't be worried. I honestly think you'll do amazing. It's only an essay, you've done them before, and have you ever gotten a bad grade on an essay Sarah?" he asked with his arms over his chest.
I thought about it for a moment.
"Hmm no actually. Thanks Trevor!" I yelled and gave him a hug. It wasn't that much of a pep talk, but my mood changes back to happy very easily.
He hugged me back, whispering "just remember you're a know-it-all"
I whispered back "and you give crappy pep talks. But I love you anyway" I laughed quietly.
I let go and thanked Trevor again, before walking to my 1st period class, Science.

4th period came way too fast, and our whole English class went to the library to write our essays. I grabbed a book I would need, and sat down at a table by the computers.
Just as I was scribbling my name on my final draft paper, a saw someone sit next to me out of the corner of my eye.
"It's like they don't trust that we're worthy of the Honors Class" he said.
I turned to see this guy who looked extremely familiar. Then I remembered that he was sort of like our year's class clown. I just can't seem to remember his name.
I laughed at what he had said before. "What?"
"They're making us write a stupid essay to prove to them that we're smart. I'm Jason by the way" he answered with a goofy smile.
"Sarah" I answered with a friendly smile.
"I like that name. It has spunk. I bet you have a great personality" he said with a slight smirk.
"And I bet you're the class clown" I answered with a smirk of my own.
His eyes widened and he said sarcastically, "how'd you guess?"
"Oh, definitely the hair" I said. That's weird, I usually don't tease people.
Just then the librarian shushed us very loudly.
Jason whispered, "I guess we should get started huh?"
"Totally. Good luck Jase" I said and out of the corner of my eye I saw him grin. Probably because I just met him, and I already have a nickname for him.
Why DID I give him a nickname?

I walked into 6th period, locking eyes with Jason, quirking my head to the side, wondering why I've never noticed him in here before. I noticed that he'd done the same.
He walked up to me and crossed his arms over his chest.
"How come I've never noticed you in this class before?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"Because I'm not popular, like you?" I asked with a smirk as I walked over to my seat.
"Oh hah, hah, I see how it is. You could be popular too ya know."
"Oh yeah? And how would I become popular?" I asked, putting my hands on my hips and looking up at him.
He looked back and forth as if making sure no one was looking, then turned to me and said, "You could always date me."
I laughed. "Date you? I just met you!"
He moved his hands in a motion that said "keep it down" and started going "SHHH!"
"We don't want everyone knowing you have the hots for me, now do we?" he winked with a smirk.
I glared at him, while playfully shaking my head. Then without another word, I walk over to my desk and sat down quietly.
As soon as the class went silent, Mr. Cronauer turned toward us, away from the board, and spoke.
"Alrighty class, everyone stand up and walk to the back of the class. We are switching seats again" he said in his everyday, cheery voice.
Everyone got up and stood silently at the back as he started seating people in their new desks. I wasn't surprised at all when he sat me down next to Jason.

A/N Well I know this part is extremely short, but it has been partially done and in my drafts for a few months now and I think I should just get the update out.
This part is dedicated to Sarah, who gave me the ideas for the scenes and settings of this short chapter. I just wanted to get the scenes where Sarah and Jason meet in one chapter.
Well, I'm going to be going into High School once Summer Break ends, so I'm not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to this story. If you guys still want more of this story, I'll try my best to start adding better, longer chapters.
Please, PLEASE, give me your ideas and feedback on this story, be brutally honest, and give any opinions you might have about ANYTHING. Seriously... I have nothing better to do than to reply to your comments.
I love all of you.
Adios xD
