Hey hey hey! So whats going on with Luke and Artie? Does Ky have a crush on Casey? Well read on and find out! (Yes Eli is Nick Robinson)Casey's POV
Today was the day. I had finally saved enough money to buy a used car! My mom drove me to the dealership that Saturday morning and the whole car ride I tapped my foot uncontrollably.
"Case, you gotta quit doing that. Or at least turn on the radio so it drowns it out" my mom said with a laugh.
"Sorry mom, I've just been waiting for this day for the past 3 years!" I answered excitedly and flicked on the car stereo.
"Well have you thought of what car you want to buy?"
I nodded. "Yup. A van"
She cocked her head in a confused way. "A van? Why on earth would you want a van?"
I shrugged, a grin permanently plastered on my face.
"I'd just like to have the space, just in case"
We pulled into the parking lot and as soon as mom hit the breaks, I flew out the door, almost falling on my face.
"Oh my god Casey calm down! You're making me anxious!" My mom giggled obviously humored by my clumsiness.
I dragged her in and ran up to the cute guy behind the counter.
"Hiya, I'm Eli, how may I help you?" He said with a half smile.
"Hi there Eli, I'm looking for a Van. Any type of van, I don't honestly care, as long as it's spacious" i said reflecting his smile.
He clapped his hands together. "Well, weird choice for a teenage girl, but we're all a soccermom at heart I suppose. Right this way!"
He lead the way to a row of assorted vans out in the lot, and as he explained about the ventilation and speakers, i couldn't help but notice how familiar he looked.
"So have you made a decision yet? No rush of course, I just know people usually fall in love with one by the time we get through them" he asked, smiling gingerly at us.
There were SO many choices, but he was right. There was a particular one that caught my eye. It was a teal-ish color with black padded seats and shaggy carpet-like flooring. It had a built-in movie player and really cool dashboard, and even though I didn't know much about cars, it seemed like a great vehicle. The milage was also phenomenal.
"I was thinking the teal one" i said tapping my chin.
He grinned. "Ah, you like Erie too? I had my eye on that one, waiting to see if it would ever find it's match"
Damn this kid is weird. I laughed at how goofy he was and my mom just smiled awkwardly.
"Erie? Do you name all the cars or something?"
He looked me in the eye and said, "only the ones i deem worthy"

After we did all the paperwork with the manager, I got the keys and hopped in the van, inhaling the new car smell.Eli appeared at the window, and I rolled it down with a smile.
"Hello", he said giddily, "I feel like I've seen you before. Do you go to Portland High by any chance?"
