Maria's P.O.V

As I were training with the others I suddenly smelt and felt a change in something. Concentrating on mine and Ariana's link I realized that Tyler was marking her. I was enraged an was going back to them when I felt her mark him back. I felt her happiness at full force. She felt happier then she has ever been with me. I sat there and whimpered. 'She better off with him. I'll just keep getting her in trouble.' I told myself. Everything inside me crashed and I just darted. Away from the house, away from Austin, away from Ariana. I heard her when she called out for me but I was already in the process. 'Maria please come back!' Was the last thing I heard. Her agony was the last thing I felt. Our bond had completely vanished. I was a lone wolf now. I ran for three hours straight before I finally collapsed near a tree. I laid there panting then dropped my head to my paws. Suddenly I heard a voice. "What are you doing?" I looked around confused then finally realized who was speaking. "Well well look who's finally talking to me after three years." I spoke coldly to my wolf who just growled at me. The two of us weren't on that good of terms as you can tell. "Answer my damn question!" She growled at me. "What does it look like?!" I shot back. "Looks like you're running away." She scoffed at me. I just went quite. "Nothing to say back?" She spat at me. "Why the hell do you care now?!" I was really getting tired of her. Can't she just go back to being silent. "Because! You was finally happy somewhere and you just left outta nowhere!" I went silent again. "So afraid of being hurt again you just broke our bond with OUR sister and ran away from OUR mate! You didn't even think about what you did or the consequences!" She was fuming. I understood why she was yelling at me. She was finally getting happy again and I just took it away from her. I stayed silent as she let out her rage then heard as she started whimpering. "My mate is gone again." Even I started to feel sad. I was so far away from him again and it was killing me. 'I can't go back.' I thought and slowly closed my eyes. A few hours later of rest I was woken by a loud crack sound. I stood up and looked around then sudden a huge grayish wolf jumped out from behind the trees. I stumbled back shocked at first. The wolf growled at me and I immediately shifted back to human form cowering. 'W-what the hell is wrong with me?' I thought to myself keeping my head down. I only peeked up when the wolf shifted back and put on some shorts. "A-Austin.." I whispered out. He tossed me his shirt and I looked up into his eyes. They were dark black filled with rage as he walked toward me.

Austin's P.O.V

I had returned home to see Ariana staring blankly. Her eyes were dead and she had tears streaming down her face. I instantly got worried. "Where's Maria?" I asked her in a panic. She didn't answer me and just started sobbing again. My heart felt as if it spilt and crumbled. I thought of all the worst possibilities that could have happened. 'Did she get kidnapped again? Was she hurt badly? W-was she...' I felt my eyes ting at the last thought. My brother came running back into the house pulling on some shorts. "Ty! Where's Maria?! Is she ok?" I ran to him and he just looked down pissed as hell. "She ran away...she broke her bond with Ariana after I marked her and left." He said in a harsh tone. "I've been looking for her but I couldn't track the scent properly." He bit his lip. "That idiot! What is she thinking?!" He yelled hitting his fist on the table. I sighed relieved she wasn't hurt but then anger grew over me too. She just abandon her little sister here alone. I growled and walked toward the door. "Ariana it's ok I'll bring her back to you and fix this." I told her running out. I quickly pulled off my clothes tying them to my leg and shifted. I instantly smelled her scent but it was all over the place. 'This is gonna take awhile.' I huffed and took off toward the strongest part of her smell. Hours later of running I finally found her sleeping near a tree and startled her awake. Lunging in front of her I startled her into falling back. She looked weaken already for some reason. I growled at her telling her to shift back which she complied way to easily into doing so. I shifted and pulled on my short and tossed her my shirt as I walked to her. She hesitantly put it on and looked down again away from my glare. "What the hell do you think you're doing!" I yelled hitting the tree behind her. I guess I hit it too hard because it came crashing down making her jump. "W-what do you mean." She mumbled out barely above a whisper. 'What the hell is this?! This isn't like her!' I growled to to myself trying to calm down. "Why would you leave?! What was the purpose?! I thought you finally liked being there!" She looked up and I could see her eyes were just as dead as Ariana's. "I left so Ariana could be happy is all. I don't want to be there but she does." She was clearly lying. I know there's something more to this. "Bullshit!" I yelled. She gripped his fists in tight balls staring at the ground. "You're coming back." I grabbed her arm and started to drag her. "What?! You can't make me!" She snatched away from me and her eyes were starting to grow darker red. I stood over her and said as calm as I could. "As alpha I'm ordering you to go back." I put all my power into my voice and saw her shaking from it. I hated to have to force her but she's not thinking straight. "I hate you." She whispered. I froze shock on my face mixed with hurt. "W-what?" She glared up at me tears streaming down her face. "I'm rejecting you. I don't want you as my mate." She said. My wolf right then and there almost died. 'She's...rejecting me...' "W-wait...you know what this can do to us." I tried to plead with her. "I don't care! I'll be perfectly fine by myself!" She turned her back to me and started to walk away. The agony I felt was greater then anything. Even greater then losing my parents. I was about to chase after her when she suddenly collapsed. I saw a dart in her leg. "Maria?!" I called out then felt a large pain in my leg. I looked back and saw a similar dart. I reached down to take it out then suddenly felt woozy. Everything was turning black. The last thing I saw was my lead enforcer walking up to us with a smile on his face.
