Chapter 8
We get to my house about 10 minutes later, Emma and I grab our backpacks and walk inside and up to my room, only after my mom greets us with suspicious looks and shooting me a glare.
"Okay time to get ready" Emma says with a huge smile across her face, if you can't tell I'm guessing she's very excited unlike me I could care less to go, no offense. Parties used to be my thing, by thing I mean shit. Parties were my shit, but not really anymore.
"Okay" I say chuckling.
"Did I mention I love your house it's so adorable and tiny" she says. I'm not really sure whether that was a compliment or insult but, seeing Emma's car I can only imagine her house. Mine must look like a shoebox.
"Thanks" I say accepting it as a compliment.
"Okay well since we are going to the football game first.. we should just wear our bathing suits under our clothes" she explains.
"We gotta figure out what to wear first" she says and walks over to my closet and begins going through stuff. Throwing things out behind her into my bed. I raise my eyebrow, she'll be cleaning that up!
"Dude why do you have some many pairs of jeans don't you have any skirts" she says while she continues looking for something to wear. Meanwhile basically tearing my closet apart.
"Haven't owned one of those forever" I reply chuckling at our difference in choice of clothing. Unless of course it's trashy and perfect for the club.
I walk over to my closet and start looking at stuff as well. I find a pair of light blue jeans with rips at the knees and a white loose tank top I also grab a pair of black ankle boots with a zipper down the side. It's actually warmish today which is surprising since its October, October in Oregon.
"I'm wearing this" I say to Emma.
"What you have to wear a dress" she says confused.
"Dude it's a football game" I say laughing. Last time I checked we weren't going to a parent.
"Oh yeah I forgot" she says laughing as well.
"Hey I know what you can wear" I say and walk over to my closet to find something for her attarire of girly girl clothing which will be difficult considering the fact most of my clothes are black. It's not my fault it matches everything and looks great on everyone.
I look through my closet, I find a white romper with lace detailing at the top.
I pass the romper to her and grab a pair of black wedge boots and a black jacket and also give it too her."I Love it!" she says, I honestly didn't think she would like it.
"I knew you would" I lie.
"I'm gonna go get changed" I say and grab my clothes and walk into my bathroom getting changed quickly putting my bikini under my clothes.
"Can I do your makeup?" Emma asks as soon as I step out of the bathroom.
"Uhh" I say hesitantly. I wasn't really planning on wearing that much makeup.
"Please!" she begs.
"Okay okay if you insist" I say.
"Yes!" Emma says. Emma is very good at makeup she's been doing it like forever well that's what she tells me. I'm not very good at it but it's whatever. She grabs a makeup bag out of her back pack and tells me to sit across from her on the bed. First she starts by doing my eyeshadow then face makeup, she puts waterproof mascara on and lipstick. I don't know how long I've been sitting here when she pulls out a hair straightener and does my hair.
