Chapter 6

Something About him saying that makes me mad, but I don't know what it is.
"give me the spray paint" I say and he smirks. Fully knowing that he got what he wanted.

"Come On lets go" Parker says. He brings out my rebellious side and I don't like it, wait maybe I do, ugh I don't know. Everything in my mind feels like a blurry mess right now and I don't know why.

He locks his motorcycle, and throws the black bag over his shoulder.

"Okay game plan, let's not fucking get caught" Parker says smirking, with a hint of seriousness in his eyes.

"Agreed" I reply.

He opens the lobby doors and I follow him inside, the lobby is massive it has high ceilings and elegant designs all over, there's a man standing at a large granite counter working on a computer and seating area over on the other side of the lobby. It was like something you would see in Chicago.

The whole situation reminds me of my past. I'm not sure if that's good or not. Probably not but this is another case of me not trusting my gut.

Parker pulls the hood of his leather jacket over his head and I look the other way while we walk pass the worker so he doesn't notice us. Or at least notice our faces and that we definitely don't fit in here

"Good morning sir" he says as if he knew Parker.

"Mornin" he mutters.

I then put the hood of my green army jacket over my head as well. Just to be safe I can't be caught. I used to have a horrible reputation with the cops in Chicago. And after the incident, everything changed for me, I couldn't get caught by the cops anymore. I might be breaking that rule right now, but technically I'm not, not unless I get caught.

Parker turns down a large hallway and walks down it and gets to 3 large elevator. I press the button and the elevator dings after a minute.

"Ladies first" he says smirking I walk in front of him into the elevator. My foot then hits a object and I know what's going to happen next, I trip falling straight onto my knees with a thud. Parker begins laughing and has to put his hand over him mouth to muffle the sound. I shoot him a look showing my not impressed face.

"Thanks" I mumble, he continues laughing. I stand up wiping off my jeans with my hands. As he steps over and presses the button saying floor 7. He says he met this guy and a bar, but he knows where he lives? That's suspicious. How did I not realize that before I agreed, God dammit. He's not telling me everything about this situation. I need a way to make him tell me, why we're actually here.

Parker then walks over to me and stands I swear a millimeter away from me even though there's plenty of space in this large elevator. My arm tingles every time he takes a breath causing his arm to rub against mine. Gross. What is going on with me.

"Do you even know where your going?" I question raising an eyebrow quickly snapping out of my thoughts. Maybe he's just guessing where he lives, he could be setting me up. I could walk through that elevator door once it opens and be dead for all I know.

"Gosh princess you act like I've never done this before, you must not know who I am" Parker says.

"You say that as if you know me, you don't know anything about me" I say turning to face him.
