Sorry this chapters so short/ the next few will be a lot longer.
Chapter 11
"Who was that?" Parker asks with protection written all over his face, but what's it to him. He shouldn't care.
"Nobody" I reply bluntly. I know he knows exactly who it was. He just doesn't want to admit it.
"Who was that?" He says again more sternly.
"Chase" I say giving in. Why does this always happen to me? I didn't want to tell him, I know he hates Chase for a unknown reason I don't need him to get caught up in my drama.
"Fuck I thought I told that bastard to leave you alone" he says, he's angry, except I don't know why he cares so much what Chase does or says. It kills me not to know what happened between them, what caused Parker to hate him so much. Parker grabs his car keys out of his pocket, and begins walking away. I can see his anger through his walk. I walk faster after him grabbing his arm to stop him.
" Stop. Don't do this you'll regret it, I told him to leave me alone. He's not going to do anything anymore, I promise" I say looking up at him. His chest heaves up and down, he's not looking me in the eyes again. I then take my hands and places them on his chest in urge to calm him. He flinches at my tough. His jaws clenched and he's clearly thinking hard about this, whether he stays here and calms down or goes and does something he will regret. If he ever has regretted something. I look past his shoulder looking into the kitchen and see Aiden and Ryan have now placed themselves on the couch in front of the tv. He doesn't look as angry so I let go of him cautiously.
"Okay?" I ask him.
"Whatever. But I swear if I see him say one damn word to you, he's going to regret it " he replies turning around and walking away from me. I run my hands through my hair and let out a sigh of relief the last thing I need is Parker getting into a fight with Chase, and Everyone knowing about it. Especially Amanda I don't want her anywhere near my business. She will just cause more drama I don't need.
I walk back through the hallway out to the living room where Parker is now plopped onto the couch looking moody and distant. Again.
I clear my throat and they all turn around to face me.
"Um do you think one of you could drive me home?" I ask. I would walk home except I have no clue where we are and It could be miles for all I know.
Parker speaks up before Aiden or Ryan can say anything "you can walk princess you have long legs, we are not your servants" he says emotionlessly. It stings a little just knowing now he's back to hating me, when we were decently just getting along.
I look at him narrowing my eyes about to say something when Aiden cuts me off
"Yea I can give you a ride"
"I call shotgun" Ryan says joyfully.
I smile and thank them both.
"Catch you later Parker" Aiden says grabbing his keys off the table and waving them at Parker. He nods.
Ryan rushes out the door and hops into the front seat. Smiling at us like he just won an Emmy.
