Chapter XIII
I couldn't think of Landon at the moment. My mind was filled with thoughts of all my room. My rooms. I examined everything, marvelling at each and every little detail. Flowers were laid almost everywhere in my room, all different and vibrant colours, giving the room a lively and earthly feel. A painting of a lady alone in the rain was on the right of my bed, as she stared off into space. It was gorgeous. I peeked into my make-up room and almost fell onto my bed. The make-up room was a billion times bigger than my room in Heutat. A large, white table was against the wall, a beautiful golden-bordered mirror in front of it. Millions of cosmetics and tools sat behind the table, each lined up according to what it was. I laughed. This was so crazy. I had never dreamed of this. I knew Landon was a prince, but all this..? I ran to my bathroom, excitement and hopes filling me. And they were worth it.
The prettiest green curtains covered what seemed like the largest tub I had ever seen that rested on the back wall. It looked alike to the one in the plane. An expensive and large looking shower was next to the tub. A plush looking toilet stood in the corner. Three large sinks stood near the toilet, a rose-like structure slightly above the each of the faucets. Many drawers were beneath it, each labelled in neat, cursive writing. I quickly glanced around it, before heading to the final room- the dressing room. I quietly opened it, just to be amazed again. Millions of cupboards and drawers were lined neatly next to each other, a large mirror in the centre of the room. I entered, looking at myself in the mirror. My green dress was still gorgeous, my golden-brown curls still intact. I twirled in the mirror, laughing as my dress flew up slightly. I twirled a few more times before I turned to the mirror. I noticed that my door was ajar open, which was strange since I had closed it. I looked in the mirror, and that's when I saw two figure giggling and laughing behind the door. I spun around, pointing right at the door.
"Who.." I demanded, my voice quivering. "Who is it?!"
A silence.
I walked up to the door and opened it. Behind it were two girls, both older than me. They both had dark brown hair that was tied in a bun. One of them had pretty oak eyes that matched her pale skin. She looked down, guilty. The other one was slightly taller. She had blue eyes that looked blueberries, a fruit I had for breakfast.
"Sorry Ms.Eiffel, we just were coming to help you dress up..." they chorused, looking at the floor, guilty.
"Oh. I'm sorry I just thought you were someone who wasn't...supposed to be here." I reply awkwardly, as another silence passed between us.
"I'm India and this is Peru." Oak eyes quickly exclaimed, pointing to Blue Berry eyes.
I nodded. "Oh right! I'm-"
"We already know who you are, Ms.Eiffels. His Majesty explained that you are a guest and that you need some updates. So, shall we?" Peru answered, cutting me off.
My head buzzed. 'His Majesty?' who was that? Was it Romany or Landon? And updates? What updates? Updates in what?
Before I could ask, both girls pulled me towards the bathroom, holding my wrists tightly in their arms. I ripped free off their grip as soon as we entered the bathroom.
"What updates?! What Majesty? What are you doing?!" I commanded, as both stopped walking and turned to me.
"Well, we are here to help. We will show you around the bathroom and show you the different features..and smells. Also, we will help you wi- " India said, as Peru twiddled with her thumbs.
