Kikyo's POV

"Where is that little bitch I told her to be back by 8:00 its 8:10 she suppose to be making me dinner!" I said very pissed like.

I punch the wall with brute force and then said anger: "I'll kill her, what do I break this time of her body?" I smirk evily. "Her arm? Her Leg? A rib? Part of her skull? Or one of her organs? This should be fun....lets see what i do..." I laughed.

Kagome's POV...

I laugh at what Inuyasha said about dating a whore like Kikyo, "I agreed Inuyasha she shouldn't even be my step-sister, though I have to stay there I don't respect her at all..." I said cheerfully

I looked at the clock and see its 8:10. "Got to go guys sorry bye!" I say while waving my hand and them and they wave back. I run out of the diner we were hanging at that is called 'Joly Jackes Diner'.

I ran down the alley, turn the corner, a red light came and took it and ran passed all the cars and streets then made it to my place.

I keep my speed grabbed the top of the gate, flipped myself over landing perfectly safely,

Then I ran in the house heading for my room till I heard a familiar voice say : "Your late, 10 minutes late...Kagome Higurashi," I sigh pissed off and stressed like.

I looked behind and saw Kikyo slowly walking towards me, smirking her evil smile and hitting her hand softly and threating with her black bastball bat. Then I sighed knowing this was going to be a long night of beatings with that bat.

I don't even know why I stay here...is it because mom's presence is here?

Kikyo took the black bat hit me in the ankle with it, causing me to fall to the ground, she bended down and slaps me.

Is it because the good memories that were once here?

Then Kikyo standed up, and swung it over her shoulder then 3 times into the same stop in my rib cage. I yelped in pain.

Or is it I have no place else to go?

Kikyo took the black bat and swung the final blow to my ribs then I coughed up a blood.

My sight got foggy, my eyes were barely open then the door opened I knew because a light suddenly appeared, then a red and white figured appear and pushed Kikyo away.

That figure picked me up, he lays me down with another figure that had black hair and a purple coat and another with a brown hair and pink shirt.

Then a familiar voice whispered: "It's alright were here she won't hurt you again...Kagome.. "

That voice...it cant be...could he have followed me and saw my bruises maybe he did...he cared?

Inuyasha...the Dog half-demon...that I loved but a year later fell for Kikyo instead and pushed me away...he was acting kindly towards me the past few days...

Could he...

No he could never...

He could never love or have a desire to be with me I have with him...

He could never love a girl like me..
