Kagome Higurashi is your average high schooler with a step-sister and no parents.
Sadly, her mother and Kikyo's father died.
With Kikyo getting rich off their savings, she is piling strict rules on Kagome at home.

"What...did you say, Inuyasha?" I stated at Inuyasha in complete shock.
"You heard me wench, tch. Marry me." He placed a small black box on the table I was sitting at.
It's been 2 years since the incident of Naraku and his followers.
We visit Kikyo every other week on Sundays and she gotten better, she even gives small smiles.
Sesshomaru and Rin have gotten married, she still has college. Sesshomaru has a job already due to his excellent intelligent.
Miroku and Sango of course are engaged, lucky them.
My chocolate brown eyes stared at Inuyasha as a single tear fell down my cheek as the bagel in my grip was dropped onto the table.
"I...I don't know what to say." I looked down at the small box.
He smirked, bending down and took my hand, opening the box. He took out the ring and held it in my vision.
"Only one word. Say "yes", don'tcha wanna say yes?" He asked, leaning in.
I felt tears stream down my cheeks as I blushed lightly..
"Kagome..." My mother touched my shoulder, we were out in the forest. We were enjoying a water melon we won at a festival on a hill.
"Yes, mommy?" I asked her.
"Kagome, there will be a day I will be gone. You need to understand something, stay strong, won't you sweetie?" She smiled.
"Of course! I'll be super strong!" Little Kagome smiled goofily.
Her mother giggled as she looked at the tiny girl.
"Kagome, there will be a day where you'll fall in love! When you do...promise me something?" She brought her daughter's head to her shoulder.
"What momma?" She looked up, innocent completely.
"If I'm gone, be happy and grateful that your life has brought you down this path. I know i was when I met your father." She kissed her daughter's cheek.
"Do you think Someone could ever love me?"
Kagome's mother opened up her mouth, ready to reply.
"Yes, dear." Kagome smiled up at Inuyasha, remembering her mother's reply.
He smirked, slipping the ring on her finger. He planted a short yet sweet kiss on her lips before pulling her in a deep hug.
"I love you Inuyasha." She hugged him back tightly.
"I love ya too, wench." He said, grinning wide.

Kagome stood infront of her mother's grave. A simple round shaped grave with blue, white, and red roses surrounding it. The vines had been growing on it and no one visits in years.
Kagome bended down, ripping the vines off as she spoke to her dead mother.
"Sorry mother, I haven't been here in 5 years. It's been forever, right? Ha, ha, ha. I've been busy." Kagome said as she dusted off the grave stone revealing her mother's name.

She placed down a patch of red and white roses against the front of the grave.
She folded her hands together as she began to pray to her mother

Inuyasha followed her of course worried for her when she told him where she was heading.
I don't wanna end this so quick...but I'm getting married, mom!
And that man will re-build me when I break, his name is Inuyasha Takahashi!

Kagome stood up, wiping her tears as she turned to face Inuyasha with a smile on her face.
