All that matter was that he loved her and no one else in this moment.

"I love you, Kagome,"

She whispered, "I love you, Inuyasha,"

The blade in Kikyo's hand launched and stabbed her.

Blood spat out.

A body slammed agasint bags of trash and trash cans.

"Kagome!" Was heard.

A red and silver blur pushed Kikyo, missing Kagome's heart but hitting her shoulder, piercing it.

The blood of her shoulder spat out, Kikyo fell on a the trash bags and trash cans. Inuyasha picked Kagome up in bridal style and removed the dagger in her shoulder.

"I-Inuyasha?" Kagome whispered her voice scared, her lip quivering.

"Kagome," Inuyasha whispered then look over to your bleeding shoulder and ran back to the house.

"Mom! Dad! Call the doctor!" Inuyasha rushed in.

Kagome gripped his shirt, she whispered, "Inuyasha, call the police, Inuyasha, please," Inuyasha looked down at his pleading girlfriend.

"The doctor is on her way!" Izayoi yelled.

"C-Call the police," Kagome choked out in her last bit of will power of trying to stay awake.

"Why?" Izayoi rushed over and put pressure on Kagome's wound.

"K-Kikyo...attacked...dagger...injury...saved..." Kagome said then passed out.

"Kagome," Izayoi whispered and told her husband to call the cops.

The doctor, Dr. Rocky rushed into the home and applied pressure on Kagome shoulder and quickly clean the wound, wrapped it up, and tied it together.

Kagome laid in her room, now in a white slik robe given to her by Izayoi, Izayoi dressed and cleaned her.

The police came by and asked questions to the entire family and asked them to call when she woke up.

Inuyasha didn't see Kikyo, they thought Inuyasha did it since he was a hanyo, that he attacked her. That what it seemed to him.

Inuyasha went to school against his will, his parents, elder brother, and elder brother's mate forced him too.

Inuyasha explained what happened to Kagome to Miroku and Sango.

"Oh god, how, I know her sister was out but to find her and attack her," Sango chestnut eyes widen, terrified for Kagome's life.

"Now, Now. Since Kagome was only injured in the shoulder and she was given special care straight away, I'm sure she'll make it. In fact I have no doubt in my mind!" Miroku smirked.

"Yea. No matter injured or not, she's our Kagome, an survivor." A grin played on Sango's lips.

"Hey, guys. What do you think Kagome went through with Kikyo." Inuyasha said, narrowing his eyes.

"The worst kind of hell and pain," Sango stated, sadly. Her jaw clenched and fist balled up.

"Yes. But Kagome surivied. If Kagome can survive that, she can survive this. That's why we must believe in her." Miroku said, his eyes hardening.

The lunch bell rang and everyone went to their classes.

Miroku and Sango took notes for Kagome and gave them to Inuyasha at the end of the day.

"See ya!" Sango waved as she raced off with her you younger brother, Kohaku.

"Bye!" Miroku who had a huge grin spears across his face.

Inuyasha and Miroku chatted till they went their different ways.

Inuyaha jogged passed the garden, up the stairs, and into the house. He jogged up to Kagome's room and saw his mother there, praying.

"Mom," He whispered.

"Oh, sorry dear. Just praying for her life. After, all that has happen the strain and pain must really hurt and is close to death. That's all. I'm sure she'll make it through." Izayoi smiled as she patted his shoulder then left the room.

Inuyasha walked to where his mother was and sat down. He took the notes from his backpack and laid it on the nightstand next to her bed.

He pulled out the ring he had asked her to marry him with. Maybe he was going to fast, he drove to a store, and bought her something. This was defiantly Kagome's ring.

He jogged passed the garden, into the house, and into Kagome's room to see her scanning the notes as her lips moved a little as she scanned the page.

Her chocolate brown eyes flickered to his form.

"Inuyasha," She whispered as her eyes filled with tears.

The next thing he knew that Kagome was hugging Inuyasha's torso.

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her shoulders and whispered, "Kagome,thank god," He buried his face in his face in her raven curly black hair.

Somehow they ended up in Kagome's bed, the door locked, and making out with Kagome pinned down.

"Kagome," Inuyasha whispered in the kiss.

"Mhm?" She hummed.

"Marry me," He said, his eyes locking her's.

"Marry...you?" Kagome asked.

Inuyasha got on one knee pulled out a box and opened it.

This ring was as over band with a silver shining diamond shaped like a butterfly.

"Inuyasha," Tears weided in her eyes.

She shook off the theart from Naraku.

"Yes, Yes Inuyasha!" She jumped on him, hugging him.

He slipped the ring on her left ring finger as they fell back on the bed. They cuddle and fell into a deep, happy slumber.
