Yeah, sorry. This isn't a A/N or anything, but a side Chapter for 4th of July.

Soooo, let's began. Hope you enjoy.

Kagome walked down the streets as she saw posters put on building's walls and windows.

Kagome sighed as usual the town was going off about 4th of July.

Well, I'm sure Koga and Ayame have a blast.

Kagome was a social person, but she didn't like festivals that were THAT big.

The town had a large festival with a bunch of stands, they went out of their way. They even had food from America and Britain.

The town would always get together and make something huge to show off then put posters and trying to get everyone to come.

"Excuse me, Miss?" A man walked up to her.

That's a new tactic, Kagome thought looking at him with a bored expression.

"Yes?" She asked, turning her full attention to him.

"Would you like join in the great Akizawaya Festival!" He said, shoving a flyer in her face.

Annoyed, she grabbed ahold of the flyer getting it out if her face.

"No." She tried to give the festival flyer back to him, but he refused.

"Least keep the flyer ma'am! Hey, they say if you keychain and tie a same color ribbon for each spouse you'll stay together forever!" The man caught her attention.

"Maybe I can stop by." Kagome looked down at the flyer.

"Good!" He patted her back, making her stumbled a little before going to a elder man.

Kagome sighed and shoved the flyer in her bag, heading back to the dorm.

"Hey, Kagome!" Helena waved and walked over to her, laying a hand on the young human female's shoulder.

"You should go to the festival this year." Helena winked over at Sango.

"What's the catch?" Kagome asked.

"Well, you see..." Sango trailed off.

"Miroku wants to go with her, but I can't go with her because me and Sess are going out of town for this one." Helena explained.

"So, you want me to come?" Kagome asked.

"With Inuyasha of course!" Sango chimed in.

"But there's one problem." Kagome said.

"Which is?" Helena and Sango said together.

"I don't have a kimono." Kagome said.

Usually when you did a festival like this you would were a kimono.

"Really? I have a few I can spare, Kags." Helena smirked.

"I'll find them tonight and show you tomorrow 'kay?" Helena asked and Kagome nodded her head.

The next day.

It was actually 4th of July now.

Kahome sighed as she walked into Helena's room.

Helena showed her 3 Kimonos that she could wear and Kagome chose one in no time.

"Kagome! Please help me with my kimono and hair! I wanna look amazing for Sesshomaru!" Helena pleaded.

Kagome sighed and agreed.

She helped Helena put her kimono on correctly and put her hair up, Helena did her own makeup for this.
