EDITED (April 12, 2014) ~*~

I was seating on an old tattered couch eating my favorite M&Ms and laughing along with my friends at Ellie’s garage.

Oh by the way, Ellie's one of my friends.

We always hang out here. This garage has served as our headquarters since we were freshmen. The place was actually a mess when we first got there. This just use to be a dusty room filled with termites and rodents. But now it’s furnished and is now considered as our gang's official batcave. We furnished it with two old and completely different couches we bought from a garage sale across the road, a cute themed lamp with a little Hawaiian girl dancing as it’s body, a coffee table on the center filled scattered books, forgotten assignments and of course loads of our favorite candies in a huge bowl and of course the walls filled with some posters our favorite bands.

To be honest, if I was a random person and I saw this place the first things that would probably come to my mind is “Anyone who hangs out in these types of places screams one thing, Trouble”. And yeah, maybe you can picture this place as a sort of drug den or maybe where local drunkards spend most of their days playing poker.

But trust me, it is definitely not like that here. The HQ just looks cluttered and old because we like it that way, it gives us that sorts of familiarity and homey atmosphere…and also because we're actually slobs. But aside from that fact, can't our HQ have its own personality?

I mean, so what if it's not the neatest, nice looking place it town? That doesn't mean we're actually drug dealers or hippies or doing some shady stuff, right?

Or maybe it’s not only because of where we hang out, maybe it’s also because of where we came from. You see my friends and I study in the Great and Mighty, Maestran Academy. And not only is our school very popular around town, it also has a bit of a reputation.

Not only do people call us Maestrans practically delinquents, but people also have this concept in their mind that Maestran Academy itself is the school for “troublemakers”. But the truth was, Maestran is a school for people who are actually just pretty normal. Decent people who have a decent families who earns just enough money a day to pay for their tuition fees and their daily expenses. People who studies hard to get scholarships. People that do not have the luxury nor the capacity to enroll in the other school.

Maestran Academy is for common people, who have common lives and common need or as the rich have kindly branded us, people who are enrolled in Maestran Academy are commoners.

I honestly don't really know how we even got that reputation in the first place.

Maybe it’s because we did do some troubles in the past, and sort of still do. Maybe it’s because of my schoolmate’s stupidity and lack of finest in public. Or maybe, just a little maybe, it’s because they have other people to compare us with…those goody two faced shoe kissing brats. Excuse my rather colorful language.

I mean I don’t mean to sound hateful or heck even bitter about them. It’s just that…I give to everyone that Maestran may not be the best and greatest when it comes to discipline, but that doesn’t mean they can just generalize us. I mean if you saw one black marble out of a million white ones, you wouldn’t immediately call ‘the black marble club’ right?

All I’m saying is everyone is capable of doing stupid and even reckless things, but that doesn’t make them bad people. It just means their real people capable of committing real life mistakes.
