Hey guys sorry for the delay. I was suppose to update this yesterday but because of the typhoon here in the Philippines right now, we're sort of always experiencing brown outs and thus explains why we have no internet yesterday so sorry. :)

Well here's 53 as promised <3

Chapter 53

 ENJOY!

(Last 2 chapters before Epilogue )

_____~*~_____________________________________________________________________________

“Hey where you going?” a voice said right behind me as I run towards the grand front door. The voice seems familiar but I didn’t stop.

I lost. Game over, I’m gonna suffer my petty miserable life living all alone with my twelve cats.

“Hey!” a hand caught my arm and stopped. I sniffed trying to wipe my tears away. I finally turned to the voice owner and came face to face with a pair of green eyes.

His face immediately turned worried. “Oh Liza, why are you… Damn, what happened?” Hale inquired worryingly.

I shook my head, damn you tears. I couldn’t help it anymore and a sob escaped on my throat, echoing on the empty hallway. I finally let go of the tears as I bowed my head a little, letting the curls of my hair cover my face. Who gives a damn about my make up anyway?

I felt warm comforting arms around me but I know it wasn’t the one I was looking for. Hale comforted me, gently rubbing my back in a comforting rhythm while hushing me and whispering words on the top of my head.

I’ve always hated tears, as cliché as it sound I don’t like it because it shows my weakness. It shows my vulnerable side I don’t want that, I don’t like feeling helpless but right now it’s just so damn hard not to…

“Everybody feels that way. But when you’re sad, you can’t help it. Don’t push it back, let it go because you can’t move on from something unless you learn to accept it and let it go. Because that’s what makes them happy…” Hale murmured as I realized I said the words out loud.

I furrowed my eyebrows at his last statement and I have a feeling the only reason I heard it was because of how close we really were.

I blinked again and pulled away from him gently with a grateful smile. “Thanks Hale.” I replied my voice still thick.

He smiled back. “Sure thing. So do you wanna talk about it or something? Or maybe you want someone to…”

“Liza!” I almost groaned when I heard the voice. My eyes were starting to water again and I looked at Hale with a panicked expression.

Jake was standing right there at the end of the hall looking right at me with a worried expression.

I turned back to Hale and told him with a hush tone. “Do you really want to help me?” I asked.

“Yeah but Jake’s—” He said about to turn around but I held his arm.

“Get me out of there right now.” And with that I opened the door, dragged him and ran.

“Liza!” Hale and Jake both exclaimed at the same time, Hale in a shocked voice and Jake in a calling one.

We ran towards the cold night with the wind blowing coolly on our faces and the sky grumbling telling us it was about to rain.

“Where’s your car?” I asked Hale still not stopping or even glancing at his direction in that matter.

He was easily keeping up with me, we are now at the parking lot of the hall which is just right across it. “Third one to the right, the silver one.”  He said and I immediately spotted the fancy shiny car.
