“Thank you.” I said with all the sincerity that I can muster. I stared at Anna’s eyes with a smile.

It’s been three days after ‘The incident’ and things are gone pretty smooth from there and to be honest these past three days had been the happiest and best days I’ve had in weeks.

Sure it took my by surprise at first when the day after we went to the Empire State Building, Jake mentioned something like…

We were playing video games on the living room, it was rest day. Anna went to school and told us to be just be comfortable around. We were playing Guitar Hero and Aya was nailing Through the Fire and the Flames while I, was loosing with all the button-like-thing-os on the screen seem to be glued to each other and won’t stop coming though my nails were already aching.

Jake was singing along with the singer while Ellie and Ted where headbanging like crazy while playing their imaginary guitars.

I laughed out loud, looking at them in amusement before realizing I missed a whole lot of notes.

When the song finished they were all on Aya’s knees askign her how can she possibly finish the damn thing.

“Holy crap Aya!! THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!!” Ted exclaimed.

“Yeah especially that solo part in the middle of the song, wicked!” Jake agreed.

“Yeah, Liza didn’t even reach that far…” Ellie added.

“Guess no one just can match this awesome fingers.” Aya said moving her fingers so fast in the air they were like invisible.

“Agree,Liza just sucks. I mean she can’t even play–” Ted started to add.

“Hey! The ‘Liza’ you’re talking about’s just right here you know.” I protested.

They all looked at me at the same time with blank expressions before shrugging and continuing with their business.
