Soonyoung stood there in the pool room for a bit, contemplating on whether he should leave or not, but a loud sigh broke him out of his thoughts.

"Are you gonna come in here or stand there like a dumbass forever? I'm leaving anyways." Jihoon said with a scoff.

"Wait. Don't you think we should talk?" Soonyoung asked.

"That depends on you." Jihoon said while shrugging.

"I want to actually talk about this, Jihoon. It's not like I don't feel bad about what happened." Soonyoung said.

"Let's talk about things then. You were my cousin's piece of shit best friend, I ignored it, We dated, you screwed me over, I gave you another chance, you screwed me over again, I tried to kill myself, I got sent to camp, and here we are. Good talk." Jihoon said, about to get up.

"Jihoon. Seriously." Soonyoung said.

"Ugh, fine. What is it?" Jihoon asked.

"I'm really sorry. What I did was terrible." Soonyoung said.

"I'm glad you're aware." Jihoon said. "But I have a genuine, question. Why? You were the one who asked ME out. But when we got caught together, you put all the blame on me." Jihoon said.

"I know. I was scared. I mean, you saw how my dad reacted when he saw us kissing. I felt like a didn't have a choice." Soonyoung admitted.

"That didn't mean you had to tell the whole school. Thanks to you, I got sent to a conversion camp for nearly all my high school years. Maybe I would've been fine if it was some random dude who did that, but it was you. The person who has been hanging out with my cousin since the age of like 8. And because I was always with Seokmin, I felt really close with you too. But that...was fucked up." Jihoon said as Soonyoung sat down next to him.

"I know it was. I just was scared of what people would think of me. My whole family hates gays, Jihoon. You knew that." Soonyoung said.

"Yeah, but that didn't mean I expected for you to screw me over. Freaking out to your dad is one thing, but telling the whole school about us was unnecessary. Don't forget I'm Seokmin's cousin. You know how bad our family is. Everyone is a piece of shit. I was lucky to just get sent away. In his prime, Seok's dad probably would've beat him to death." Jihoon said with a sigh.

"But I thought you said the camp wasn't that bad? Just saying." Soonyoung said.

"Clearly I lied because I was desperate to whore around. The camp was hell. And they damn near tortured me to death when they found out I used my one free night to get laid." Jihoon said with a chuckle.

"At least we had fun that night." Soonyoung said with a chuckle.

"True." Jihoon said, chuckling as well.

"Do you not hate me anymore?" Soonyoung asked.

"I never did, unfortunately. I would if I could, but my feelings wouldn't let me." Jihoon said.

"You still like me?"

"Hell no. I meant platonic feelings. Up there with what I feel towards Seokmin. VERY platonic." Jihoon said with a chuckle.

"Fair." Soonyoung said.

"How have you been? Its been...like 2 years since we've seen each other, right?" Jihoon asked.
