Leah

My heat ended a day ago after days of wild sex. My legs are like so numb that Nikolai had to carry me downstairs this morning. Sadly, because of a Asia, he left his house this morning to deal with his Russian mafia. I'm still wandering why he created a mafia? But, he didn't have any time this morning and Asia doesn't want to spill the beans. So here I am sitting in his living room watching television feeling bored as ever. I missed home and the miss calls from Jacob, Leloopa, Alice and Embry didn't help. My mom was the only phone calls I accepted. I probably should go home today but only if my legs stop hurting. Stupid me for loving rough sex. To be honest, I'm not being true to myself. My legs don't hurt so much, I can walk. I'm just scared about what the pack will do when they see my neck. The bite mark. Marks. They stood so profound. I love them but they wouldn't. Seth would definitely want blood, Jake too. They may or may not tell the next pack and that will be war. Too much death on my shoulders. I could come clean but..... but nothing. Nikolai is an imprint, he should be treated with respect and warmth just like the all the other imprints. I smile. If they don't Nikolai and I can elope.

The sound of clattering awoken me from a dreamy state. I look towards the door to see Asia and a group of humans. One of the human is a female with chestnut hair cut in a stylish side bang brightening her face, the back was neatly bun. She is pretty just not overly gorgeous. Her eyes were silver blue, sparkling with interest. She wore  a short, high waist skirt that reached mid thigh and orange chiffon sleeveless blouse with a ruffled V neckline. Resting on her chest a sapphire necklace. In one hand she held a white jacket and the other a clipboard. On her feet were blue and orange wedge stilettos. Overall the outfit hugged her shapely silhouette leaving little to the imagination.

There is something about her though. Her heart beat. A lot faster than the others. Like the buzz of a bee. And her natural scent vanilla and cinnamon but its icy with underlying sweetness. It reminds me of something. Someone. Renesmee. She isn't a human like the other guys that are built like a bull. She's a hybrid. A full grown one at that. Did Asia know this? The girl had this haughty expression. She looked me up and down and sneered. Someone doesn't like me wearing a man's shirt. I smirk at her and returned my attention to the movie. Curiously, I glance back at Asia and her posse.

Today Asia wore sleeveless. I notice something. Her right arm is covered in tattoos like a beautiful graffiti piece you found on walls. I loved it but wouldn't do it. It fit her with the green hair and all. She shouted rebellious without words. The type of female fathers tend to warn their son not to date.

"How's my favorite sister?"

I groaned.

She frowns. "It can't be that bad. I mean you guys destroyed the house, so it must have been quite .... memorable."

"It was." I pause watching the hybrid spawn left the room, "Asia, question."

"Is this about Lillianna? I know she is a hybrid, she is also Nikolai's trusted interior designer. You'll get use to her." Then she whispers, "and the fact that she is his ex."

"What?" I explode.

"Well, you see that was like way, way, waay before you; so like ancient history," my expression didn't dissolve, "uh, so like um, think of it like this ... making new friends through enemies."

"Making new friends through enemies," I hiss, "Asia, that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard."

"It helps in battle strategies. For example, always remember to keep the enemies closer."
