Leah

I sighed as a glance in the mirror again. Tugging the dress into place I asked for the third time.

"How do I look?" I asked Nikolai.

"Heavenly." Was his reply.

In the mirrors reflection, I watch my imprint fix his cuff link before joining my side. He looked rather delicious in his white collared suit. His green bow tie match my dress. The green dress I wore was long off the shoulder sleeves that highlighted the sweetheart neckline. The rest of the dress - from beneath the bosom - was chiffon; it was loose. Draping delicately over my pregnant belly before settling at my ankles.

On my feet were gold handcrafted ballet shoes. The flat shoes were extremely comfortable.

The door leading out of the room,  cracks unexpectedly as Alice pokes her head in.  "We're leaving in two minutes. Leah,  you both are travelling with Bella and Edward."

I shivered in disgust as Alice mention my driving companions. My issue wasn't so much the mind raping leech as it was his wife. I couldn't stand the bloodsucking leech called Bella.  It didn't do me any better that our parents - my mom and her dad - desperately wanted us to get along.

My issue with her was simple. And,  it wasn't because she is a bloodsucking parasite. Okay maybe that is on of my reasons. Call me hypocrite. My dislike (or rather my hate with a capital H) is strumming from the annoyingly similar elements she possessed like my ex - Sam.  It was how she continuously led on Jake for months then shattered his heart for another.

I didn't care if her decision was for the best. Or if by the day, Jake did get his happy ending. To me she would always be an inconsiderate leech loving parasite.

In other words,  a heartless bitch.

"Are you ready,  Pussycat?" Nikolai asks.  He stood directly behind me. His cool breath decorating my neck.  His strong arms wrapped around my waist. Stealing a touch off my very pregnant belly.

"Button hasn't moved from last night. " I spoke.

Kissing my head top, Nikolai spoke. "Maybe he's resting." He paused and pulls me closer. "Let's go. We wouldn't want to be late for your mother's wedding, now would we?"

I shrieked in fright and surprise as Nikolai scooped me up in his arms, in bridal style. "What are you doing?"

"Carrying my pregnant, woman. What does it look like?"

"Well you frightened me." A small touch my lips. "Thank you."

"Never thank me for doing my duty,  Pussycat. My ego can only go so far."

A loud laughter erupted from my lips.  "Do you want me to deflate that ego for you?"

"Not at all, Pussycat. Just keep me in check."

Once he rest on my own two feet, outside. I quickly stole a quick kiss.  Nikolai's eyes was filled with mirth and a type of unconditional and unexplainable as he stared down at me.  Underlining all those emotions shining in his eyes was a hint of sexual frustration.

"Okay! You both  are cute and all but but we don't want to be late for Sue's and Charlie's wedding. " Emmett shouts as he exits the house behind us.

Alice came strolling out behind him.  "Before I forget, here. " Her outstretched hand held a slender pristine white  rectangle box.

I open the lid only to be greeted by a pair of contacts.
