Chapter 10

Maddie started thinking... what if she didn't tell anybody? What if she just waited until it was noticeable to tell people? Make it a huge surprise... it's already been a little over a month and you can't tell yet.
"Hey Luke!"
"Yeah babe?"
"I don't think we should tell people yet, I think we should just wait until it's noticeable"
"Ok honey, whatever you want!"
*** 3 months later ***
"Omg Luke I'm so excited we get to find out what we are having today!!"
"I know babe this is so exciting."
On the way to the doctors office Maddie starts thinking, man I would really like to have a girl I mean I won't hate it if it's a boy, but a girl would be so fun and cute.
Then there is Luke it would be great if we were having s boy, a little dude to play football with, go fishing with, run through the mud with, that would be great. but I wouldn't mind a girl either.
When they arrive at the appointment, the doctor calls them back and Maddie lays on the table and the doctor starts the ultrasound...
" Are you two ready to find out the sex of your baby?"
Simultaneously Maddie and Luke say
" Of course we are we cant wait."
"Well it's a...... GIRL!!"
"Oh my goodness Luke we are going to have a sweet baby girl."
"This is great Maddie."
"Do you guys have any names picked out yet?"
" Umm well not really, there are a couple but we haven't decided on any yet." Said Luke.
"Do your families have any names they want you to use? Haha."
"Ummm our families don't know we are expecting a baby yet, we are going to wait to tell them until I start to show."
"Oh wow."
"Yeah well thanks Doc but we've got to get going..."
"I don think you want to leave just yet..."
"Why what's wrong?" Maddie asked terrified.
"Well nothing is wrong it's just there is another baby, you're going to have twins."
"Wow!! What the gender of this one? And how did you not see it before now?"
"Well it looks like you will be having a boy and a girl, and I don't know how we couldn't see it before, I also don't know how your stomach hasn't grown much."
"Ok is it safe to leave now?" Asked Luke
"Yes mr. Bryan it is okay for you to leave now."
As Maddie and Luke leave to get in the car Maddie starts to wonder what they are going to do, she was only expecting to have one baby, and now she is going to have two.
"Hey Luke do you want to go on a shopping trip and get a few things for the babies?"
"Sure babe if you want to"
"Thanks Luke."
**** 4 hours and $2,500 later****
"Wow Mads who would've known there was so much stuff to get for babies, especially twins!"
"I know Luke, and since its twins I don't know how much longer I will be able to hide this pregnancy."
"Well guess we will just wait and see."
