After two days of straightening everything out I got tired of the memories, so I went out drinking. So what if I get drunk, I don't care what you think.
I put on a tight, short, skimpy black dress on to go to the 'Ye Ole Calderon.' I definitely plan on getting drunk tonight.
"How many drinks are you going to have. You are already on your third tequila shot." Sophie warns me.
"Well I plan on not remembering this in the morning so two more please." I giggle.
"Alright, but that's it." She pours me two more shots. So what after this? Buy more liquor or bother Pierce? I take the first shot which makes me feel good. Then I swallow the second one down. Alright time to bother Pierce.
I stumble out, but catch myself. I shouldn't have worn these high heel boots. I make my way to the boys dorm building without falling over. I walk up to the door. Time to surprise Pie. I giggle a bit before I pound on the door. "Pie, oh Pie come on out and play." I slur.
The door opens and a bare chested Neph stands in the threshold. "So you're the one who woke me up?" He says and rubs his eye groggily.
"Hey, where's that asshole Pie?" I slur.
"At Cel's. Why?" He answers and leans against the doorframe.
"I'm mad at him." I slur as I stagger in past Neph.
He rolls his eyes and shuts the door. "And why is that?"
"Because he's an asshole." I stutter as I wave my arms around.
The brunette lets out a soft laugh. "And you have just realized this?"
"Well you didn't go to hell in back to get your heart back to only get it broken." I snap at him. "And Pie never listens to me."
He puts his hands up defensively. "Hey, I didn't mean any harm by that. But you would be surprised by how much he actually does listen to you."
"Really, that's why he doesn't know the horrors of hell. Do you know what they do to some spirits? They chain them, they leave them alone to suffer and they burn them still alive." I say as tears start to fall down my cheeks as the memories come back. Without saying anything, the brunette man softly wraps his arms around her and pulls her into a tender hug. He rubs her back comfortingly, letting her cry onto his shoulder. "I've seen things no one should see in their life time." I whisper softly.
"It's ok Morgan." He mutters to her softly. "Isn't it all over now? You got your heart back."
"Yeah and it's broken." I say looking down at my boots.
He pulls my head up and smiles. "Then you need to find the guy to help put it back together."
I look into his eyes as my heart skips a beat. My lips pressed onto his before I knew it. My lips moved passionately on his. He softly pushes me away and his eyes fill with sadness as they look into mine. "What did I do wrong?" I ask with tears in my eyes.
"I'm so sorry Morgan, but I'm with Pierce." He admits to me. "If I wasn't, I would definitely try, but I can't hurt him."
"I'm sorry, I'm just drunk." I laugh it off to only start crying again.
He pulls me into another hug. "You have no need to apologize for that. Come on, I'll let you stay here for the night if you want."
"Can we cuddle?" I pout.
He lays down on his bed and holds an arm out to me, "Come here then." I giggle as I jump into his arms happily. He rests his hands on my lower back and pulls me in close. "Comfortable?"
"More than that, I feel loved." I blush bright red.
He smiles, "I'm glad to hear that. I do love you after all."
"You better love me." I laugh happily.
The door swings open as Pierce walks in. His eyes widen as they laugh and having a good time snuggling. Their faces close and their faces bright red. "What are you two doing?" He asks harshly.
Neph looks over and looks into the man's eyes with embarrassment. "Pierce, I thought you were going to stay at Cel's tonight."
"We finished the project earlier so I decided to come back here." He answers. "Is this what you do when I'm not here?"
"He's was just helping me out, I got drunk and you know how I get when I'm drunk." I insist to him.
"You guys were going to fuck?" He yells.
"That's not what I meant." I correct myself.
He crosses his arms across his chest, "Then care to explain why my boyfriend is holding you in his arms."
"We weren't doing anything Pierce." Neph says with a soft sigh. "She just needed someone to console her in a short time of need."
"Well..." He thinks for a moment and lets out a soft sigh. "You might be right. But I just don't like all of this."
"I kissed him once." I say out of nowhere. I still must be drunk.
"What?" His eyes widen and he glares at the brunette.
"It won't happen again, it was just a misunderstanding." I blush bright red. Okay, I'm not that great at explaining anything.
"Pierce, I swear it was nothing." Neph adds.
He shakes his head, "My boyfriend kissed my best friend. I think I get the right to be mad at the both of you."
"It was a misunderstanding." I insist.
He sighs, "I know, I know. I just... I don't know if I can get past this right now. I think I just need some space to think about all of this."
"Please-" He slams the door behind him before I could explain. "Neph, I'm sorry." I say about to cry again.
"It's fine Morgan." He says softly. "I'll just talk to him later and get this sorted out. He justs needs time to himself for now... I think."
I snuggle in closer trying not to show my face as I cry. He says nothing as he hugs me back. The darkness slowly consumes me as his heart beats and skin warms me to sleep. I will help them get back together, I'm not Heartless.
