Chapter 19

I sit down on Pie's bed and see Neph on his. The brunette looks up at me with a smile. "Hey Morg."

"Hey Assbutt." I chuckle before I sigh.

"Assbutt?" Pie asks as he sits next to Neph.

"We have code names, What was mine again?" I ask Neph.

"Betty but I was thinking of changing it to Jerkface." He chuckles softly. "It will suit you better."

"Nah, Deadgirl fits me better." I say with a smile but it fades since I'm not really feeling happy. I could be surrounded by people and I will still feel so lonely.

Pie bites his bottom lip as he looks between the two of us. He whispers into the brunette's ear softly and he nods. Neph grins softly at me. "I'll leave you two alone, you probably have some bonding to do or something."

"You don't have to. I don't mind I kind of need to get this out and tell everyone that I can or at least you two." I say calmly.

He nods and takes Pie's hand, squeezing it softly. "Then tell us."

"Alright." I take a deep breath. It's time to tell them. "I all began in hell. For you it was two weeks, for me it was one day. I found out that Chamber and Crypt were brothers. And they used to play this game to see how many mortals they can make fall in love with them and then break their hearts. But when it came to me they wanted to see which one could break mine. Then only problem was my mom died and my heart was already broken, so Chamber decided to steal it. His reason was because Crypt is my soul mate." I look down at my hands. Come on keep yourself together.

"Geez they are major dicks!" Neph blurts out. Catching himself, he quickly says, "But there is probably more to this story so I will shut up."

"Chamber is a major dick, but Crypt I don't know. So when I found out I felt betrayed, just like in Sophie's prophecy. That's when I came back to Earth. After I left your place and waited for two days to finally live a little, so I got drunk out of pity and sadness. I came here pounding on the door for you Pie, but only Neph was here. I'm sorry about that still." I bite my lip nervously.

"I understand, don't worry." He smiles softly at me. I can see the sadness in his eyes from hearing my story.

"So anyways, after all that today was the worst of it. Crypt showed up at the morgue and he apologized for all the pain he caused me. But when he left it hurt. I still feel so hollow without him. He explained that he didn't know that we were soul mates till after Chamber stole my heart." I say as the tears begin to well up in my eyes. Not again, I need to keep my emotions in check.

"That damn whatever he is doesn't even deserve you. What a crappy soul mate." Neph mutters angrily.

Pie softly smacks his arm. "That is not helping!" He turns and looks at me. "He is a jerk though, I will agree with Neph."

"He said he had to go and hoped that someday we can be friends. I don't know what he was saying to me. And his kiss just proved that he does have an interest in me." I say trying to calm down as best as I can.

"Friends?" Pie says questioningly. "I don't think that if you see him again that you will want to just be friends."

"Of course, but I don't know I'm just so confused by everything." I sigh hopelessly.

"Love is pretty confusing." Neph comments.

"Love?" I ask a bit afraid. Is that was it is between me and Crypt? Do I really love him?

"Well..." Pie bites his bottom lip nervously. "You did say you were soul mates and you feel hollow when he left after that kiss... It sounds like love to us."

"I-I don't really know what love is. I know what I thought it was but it's been a while." I say freaking out. This can't be happening, this can't be happening.

Pie gets up and moves over to me. He grasps both of my hands and looks into my eyes, "Calm down. We will help you get through this but you have to calm yourself down for now."

"Maybe I don't want to calm down!" I yell at him. This is not my finest moment.

"Then freakout. We will wait." The black haired man moves away from me and sits across the room.

I start to crack up. "I was only messing with you." I continue to laugh hysterically.

Neph's jaw drops, "She got us. She actually got us."

"Ha, suck it. So what's up with you two? Still together?" I ask with a mischievous grin. Alright it's time to have fun with my friends now and stop worrying.

"Of course." Neph smirks as he grabs Pie's ass. "This is all mine."

"Hey." The vampire smacks his hand away. "That is so not funny."

"Yeah it is." I high five Neph. "That's why you are Assbutt." I tell him.

"Don't encourage him." Pie groans softly.

Neph chuckles and pulls the man closer. "You are the only one encouraging me just by being you."

"Aw how cute. You two are so adorable." I giggle happily.

"Thanks." Pie says softly.

"So what do we do now?" I ask. I might just join them in going to their classes. It would be fun to go back to college.

"Well we have class to catch up on..." The black haired man says scratching the back of his head.

"Sweet can I come?" I ask super excited.

He grins, "If you really want to, we won't stop you."

"Yes, I get to go back to college." I cheer happily and the three of us went to class. I'm gonna have so much fun.
