Heartless

Chapter 22

"What is going on?" I growl at my stupid brother.

"She just told me to tell you sorry." Chamber shrugs. "Oh and the he's following her." Not him, that jerk.

I had to go to the living world, to save her. So I put on my hood and did just that. I appeared in front of the 'Ye Old Pub.' Well I at least know where I am. I headed towards the cemetery to see how she is doing. "Closed?" I look at the sign on the entrance of the cemetery making me scared.

"Yes, she closed it." David says walking behind me. "It was two years ago that she fired all of us and locked herself up on that cemetery."

"Why, what happened?" I ask worried.

"The hunters came, and almost killed her." He sighs. "Judas and Marie weren't so lucky. All the others died as well leaving just me."

I touch the fence and push it open. "I'm going to save her." I look at him. "No matter the cost." I put my hood back on going back in time two years ago.

When my hood was off everything was like it was and there she was near the cherry tree. I must save her. I walked over to her seeing her sad. "Morgan?"

She turns to look at me and smiles. "It's you." She hugs me and hold her in my arms.

"Yes." I whisper in her ear.

She steps back and slaps me. "You just left me." Well, I expected that.

"Yes, and now I'm going to protect you." I look down at her. "Forever."

"You better." She crosses her arms. "Now we need to keep out all the hunters and we'll be fine." She sighs.

"Already told Judas to do so." I smile. "Nobody or nothing will ever take you away from me."

"Good." She smiles as me. I kiss her passionately and change what would have happened saving the cemetery and all its workers. I saved my soul mate, my Morgan.
